I'm just back from Tress Chic Salon. Read my review here.
I had not been able to make it into salon for ~2 months. I told Jessica I would need a low-maintenance color and style. However, I wanted the beautiful light ash blonde highlights she has done for me in the past. In our consult, Jessica and I discussed that we can achieve the lighter ash blonde highlights she has done for me in the past. In the consult, Jessica suggested partial highlights in a slightly darker ash blonde which will be low-maintenance but achieve a contemporary hair color; soft and subtly transition between my darker shade and lighter shade. I trust Jessica’s professional judgment and I am so glad I did. My hair is exactly the color I wanted. A blonde that offers a natural ,effortlessly blended finish! I have received many compliments. I wish I could take the credit but it is all Jessica!
Tress Chic, specifically Jessica, have been accommodating when booking an appointment. She is prompt, attentive, and talented. She continues to impress me with her ability to balance owning a salon and her passion for being a stylist. I leave the salon knowing my color and cut/style are exactly as I hoped for going into the appointment. Thank you, Jessica. The staff at reception are warm and also attentive to clients needs. Thank you so much! I will see you in a few weeks.
New review for Visit 7 weeks later: 7/ 24/24 highlights, blowout, eyelash tint and lift
Jessica had me in the chair and ready to focus on me at exactly the time of my appointment. She listened to me and remembered the Shay shade of blonde I love. Jessica is the owner but I never feel ignored by more pressing demands. I am important to her when I am in her salon. Yet again, I love my highlights. I also had my eye lashes lifted and tinted by Jessica. There was a cute private room to lay down and relax while the tint is applied. I was so nervous about getting my eyelashes tinted. But, Jessica was very patient in answering my all questions and helped me understand the process prior to application fantastically. She also educated me about aftercare for lashes. She is the best. Thank you once again. I have been seeing Jessica since 2020 around same time she became owner of Tres Chic. The salon is clean, staff are kind and helpful. I am impressed by her talent and have seen her grow into a business savvy woman. Inspiring!...
Read moreI am leaving this horrible review to prevent this from happening to another mother and teenage daughter. Day of the Junior prom, my 16 year old wanted her hair done. I took it upon myself to schedule her for makeup too, to suprise and treat her.
Jessica the owner asked why we came to her and canceled Moxie's appointment. I told her my daughter looked at the website and didn't want to look different.
I struck a nerve somewhere.
My daughter came out looking like a total CLOWN. $200 plus for makeup. I knew something was wrong when Jessica was sticking huge eyelashes on my daughter's eyes, then ripping them off, with an attitude.
My daughter cried the entire ride home and had to wash her irritated face. Was late to the prom and missed the professional pictures. The Junior prom was ruined.
With this being said, if there is anything in this world to be BE KIND . KINDNESS MATTERS !!!!!!!!! Jessica, these children are our future of this world. To attack them at such a vulnerable young age, does not mold them into successful adults.
You are in a position where you are in control of someone's self esteem. Never once did you ask her if she was happy, instead you rushed us out and acted angry .
I hope this message finds you well. And remember BE KIND , you don't know what life struggles people are...
Read moreI'm disappointed to be leaving this review as I was very happy with the treatment I received. The women are very sweet. However, this is my experience. I made an appointment to get a glaze and blowout and was told the price was $40 for the glaze and $30 for the blowout. When I get my hair washed after the glaze and combed, my mother in law informs me that my sons fever has gone up and I need to leave. Therefore, I can't get the blowout. When I go to pay I'm told the price is $70. I explained that I was told $40 for a glaze. She says that it is because two bottles of product were used. I know for a fact that one was used as I saw what she came with and the empty bottle she left with. It was one bottle and I've never been charged $70 for a glaze even though I have long hair because I also don't have thick hair. $40+$30 is?? $70. They charged me for a blowout that I never got. If, in fact, the prices range, then I would or should have been told that the glaze ranges between $40-x amount. But that was not the case.
Seriously charging me for something I didn't get? I'm not going to start arguing at the register in front of everyone, but I know what happened, and it's...
