I've always been a loyal customer of Aldi, and overall, my shopping experiences have been excellent. However, during my recent visit, I was disappointed to find that bananas were out of stock.

Bananas are a staple item in my household, and their absence inconvenienced me greatly. I rely on Aldi for the quality and availability of essential groceries, and it was surprising to encounter such a common item missing.

I’ve always loved shopping at ALDI. But, I’ve experienced undesirable customer services by a few cashiers on and off. I don’t want to categorize my experience here because people may say I am too sensitive. So I’m gonna leave here the factual observations. I’m a foreign national living in this town and I look very different from Caucasians and African Americans. White and black ppl are always greeted politely, extensively and proactively at the check-out by some cashiers like “how are you?” “Have you found everything ok?” “Have a great day?” But when it is my turn with the expectation that I will be greeted same way, I am wrong. Even when I offer to say “how are you?” Not even a response from the cashier!!! Does the cashier have a mood swing so fast? Does the cashier just have a bad day or moment on me?? Normally, I love this store because it’s close by,, clean and well-stocked; but I just brought home a Little Salad Bar selection with a fresh date of October 19 on it (which is only two days ago),right? The lettuce is rotted and wilting and It’s too late for me to go back to get a new one (if there’s even one in stock) plus I am recovering from surgery and don’t have the energy to do that. Although the chicken, the cheese and the dressing appears to be OK, the rest is completely wasted so it’s not a salad. It’s a cheat.
