UPDATE 8/7/2025: I spoke with someone that works at this store or the owner about my experience and she offered to rebraid my hair but wants me to pay additional $100 on top of the $200 I already to get my hair braided. I thought about it called her back and told her no I do not accept her resolution because I shouldn't have to pay an additional fee for the service that should've been done correctly the 1st time. On top of the inconvenience for me to reschedule an appointment and purchase more hair. I last spoke with the owner or the person that works at this beauty suppy store, on July 7th. I have not heard back from either. I've called a few times to get this resolved before deciding to repost my updated review. If you're considering getting your hair braided here, think twice. Be very specific in how you want your hair braided. Ask if more than 2 people will be braiding your hair. Because that's one of the issues, for me. There were 4 people braiding my hair the last couple of hours. Everyone braids differently so I would suggest not having more than 2 braiders. A lot of my braids slid off because they did not intertwine my hair into the braiding hair. They wrapped the braiding hair around my hair. The parting needs work.And I told the braiders I wanted my ends left stretched. But they did not follow instructions, some of my ends were cut and some were left stretched.I also believe 2 of the braiders are inexperienced and that should be told to a customer. So the customer can decide if they want them to braid their hair. FYI, they ask for payment upfront as well.
I got my hair braided here a few weeks ago. And I am not satisfied with how my hair turned out. There were 3 people braiding my hair and they all braided different. Some of my braids had knots at the end, my braids were not uniform. I asked how I wanted my ends, I told them stretched meaning NOT to cut my ends. Some of my braids were cut and some were left stretched. Some of my braids have slid down my hair. And 3 braids have come out. So those areas I have to crochet into another braid. I get my hair braided a couple times a year and they last me 2 + months and still look fresh. Because I don't try style my braids. With going to Beauty Paradise it's going 3 weeks and my braids look like I've had my braids in for 6+ weeks. I will not get my hair...
   Read moreI came here to get my hair done the person who did my hair was braiding my hair with so much tension and when I brought the hair from a different place I brought I didnât make an appointment because they said walk ins are welcomed but they did not even welcomed me at all they judged the style I wanted to be done and towards the end I was asked if I wanted to do my edges by myself what kind of hair salon will ask a customer to do their own hair that they spend their hardworking money on itâs called hair salon for a reason. Iâm not even a regular customer who comes in here I came I was close to the area and I wanted to try it out all they care about is money just like how the the prices are high in the store you should also be offering good service on hair. They also seem like they donât care about customers satisfaction they will have your mouth shut with saying âwow itâs so beautifulâ when really itâs not. they also charged me $5 for sending money on cash app which they didnât even aware me that they âonlyâ except cash in that salon the place clearly receives cash app since the owner has a profile of that beuty salon on that cash app. There is always something of adding prices onto something just because I didnât have a card I was charged a fee what a good way to pull a first time customer. Also I had problem the way they treat customers is very poor in here just by me experiencing this place one time I was very disappointed in this service I got I would never recommend to get their hair done here nor buy from them from they way they treat customers.    Read moreThis store was sold a little over a year ago and the new owners kept the name, but their employees don't even know what they have in stock or about the products. The prices are higher and I went back last week and the clerk nor the other staff had answers to our questions... they were polite, but uninformed.
I had originally given this establishment at 2 star rating but after there comments I decided to remove one of the Stars due to the fact that them saying that I was giving untrue information when I know that I'm telling my truth and I was in the store with someone else who realizes what I said was true. The clerk did not know what a lace front was the person that came to the store with wanted to buy a non lace front wig the clerk didn't even know what that was we had to show her what a lace front was she asked another staff member and their native language and the other staff member had no clue either. Any question that was asked was answered with the I don't know. Inform your staffers of the contents of your establishment. That is just a little example there are other question should I go back in my memory bank and think of more questions to put on this review? Or should I mention the clerk's nonchalant attitude towards everything that we had to ask her? Please forgive me I didn't mean to say anything to offend you and I definitely didn't mean to hurt your business however this is your business and I was just reporting the behavior observed.
