Reg: Popeye 11431. This message to the person/s in charge of Popeyes located in 9255 Lyndale ave , Bloomington MN.55420.
I been a patron of this location since day1 opened. For the last two visits in 10 days. -1) Something fishy and real strange happened when a person approached in the parking lot while going to the restaurant, talked to me for nothing and insisted that he is going to take care of it and not to pay.. thus he told the workers/clerks not to accept my money and he has me covered! I asked him why and stated the fact that I got money to pay for my meal 5.99 (2pieces) deal. I thought he must been the new owner of the place. Nonetheless, in the way out he approached me again asking me for $5 :) Which I gave it to him gladly.. and asked him no to play that hustling at the door of business.. Indeed I was surprised that the manager Bueba “ Female Hispanic ” went through with it and let that sort of unethical misconduct of stealing/ cheating Embezzlement from the company, slide.
-2) Thus Last night I went to have dinner on evening 7/1/25 and speak to the lady manager Bueba”, to discuss such behavior and embezzlement from the store. She wasn’t there, hence I spoke to manager ( Mexican wearing red shirt of hispanic origin, whom seemed to know about this scamming of the company. I asked to speak to district manager, since, this individual started wanting to over charge me of the deal 12 wings for $12 as the signs are showing not $17.83 as he wanted claiming that was for online orders. It is chocking how he has the ability to lie looking into your eyes. No respect to the rules and regulations against false advertisement in the country . Therefore the people on the top of this company need to know this place is run by some criminals coming illegally through the border with no knowledge or appropriate training regarding business conduct and False Advertisement. There are not many people go to this place due to suspicion activities, since the building of affordable housing next to the restaurant. I hope by bring this matter up to whom it may concerns, to make it a safe professional and pleasant place again.
Should you have any questions feel free to respond to this email.
Thank you kindly in advance..
Yours truly Concerned...
Read moreWeirdest fast food experience I've ever had. We stopped here at 9:35, building was lit up like Christmas, one car in the drive though, no one inside. Went to go inside and found the doors locked despite claiming to be open until 10. The drive thru is supposedly open until midnight (or 11), so we get back in the car and get in at the drive through. The person tells us to hang on a minute. A couple minutes later she seemed to say to go ahead, but when our driver started ordering she said to keep waiting. Then she (seemed to) ask what we wanted to drink with the 4 piece we never ordered, and the driver said "I'm sorry?" and she (plainly annoyed) replied "Sir, I'm talking to my coworker", as if we were just supposed to know that.
Then the real fun began. The driver placed an order for a 3 piece tender meal. She repeated some word salad about "Sweet meat chicken" and the driver repeated "No, the 3 piece tender meal". She stated that they only had spicy tenders left, and asked what side, and, after a beat said "I'm going to make it easy on you" and proceeded to list the 2 sides they "had left". Not liking those options he accepted one someone else in the car said they'd eat. She asked him what he wanted to drink....then again proceeded to list off all the varieties of pop they were out of. When, again, he took a beat to process this unexpected choice between a bad and worse option, she, (again annoyed) said something along the lines of "I'm just going to tell you, I'm being nice here, because we're closed." (Which, for those of you following along, is 25 minutes before the inside supposedly closes, and 2.5 hours before they're supposed to ACTUALLY close.)
At that point we just pulled the ripcord and told her we were leaving. We had to wait out the car ahead of us at the window because the location doesn't have 2 lanes. (Which, to round out the experience I can only assume was cosmic punishment for some major wrong we committed earlier in the day, then proceeded to die leaving the drive thru, and in the road, blocking the exit...
Read moreI was really excited to try out Popeye's. When I drove into the drivethrew I was looking over the menu & the man on the speaker said several times to move up to the 1st window cuz he couldn't hear me. I told him hold on I'm looking at the menu I haven't ordered here before & he just kept yelling at me to move up to the window so I was rushed with my order & just had to pick something quick. I went up to the window & I had to repeat my order like 5 times cuz she couldn't hear me which was really frustrating & inconvenient. I ordered a 3 piece tenders with mac & cheese on the side & tried to get a coke but the lady said they were outta coke & Doctor pepper & instead offered a diet coke. I didn't like anything other then coke or Doctor pepper so I just let my boyfriend order the soda. She then proceeds to tell me that they are out of barbeque sauce as well & said there will be a truck tomorrow for everything. I really didn't care to hear that cuz how is that helping the situation now? I'm not going to come back to the location tomorrow just cuz there out today when I could just go to a different location for everything I need. On top of that she didn't compensate anything for being out of the things I wanted. So it all came to $12 total & I got honey mustard instead. The honey mustard was so hot that I went to the Dairy Queen across the street to buy 2 packs of barbeque sauce for $1.68 just so I can have that with my chicken when I should have gotten it with my meal for free. It is really sad that I had to do that cuz now my meal cost $14 & wasn't even worth it. I should have just eaten at Dairy Queen. The experience was really dissatisfying & they didn't give me any honey with the biscuit. I felt like I got ripped off & could have spent my money on way better food & service then this. I would not recommend this location. There disorganized & don't really show that they care about the order or...
