I would give a negative, but it won't let me. I'm a very patient person, but tonight I went to the drive through, it was a long wait, the woman was rude, got to the window,I give her my card she snatches it, gives it back, she shoves a rootbeer float at me and says here's your rootbeer float really rude. I tell her I didn't order that . She says we'll what did you order then. I said a medium Heath blizzard and a small cone. Ok. I hand her the receipt ton my card to fix it , she hands it to someone who can . He hands it back at the same time she asks me again what I had. So then she shoves them at me mad and rude. I get home look at my receipts they are the same but for not what I ordered. I call and asked to talk to a manager the young man said he's in the bathroom I said I'd hold. We'll long behold she picks up the phone and says she's the manager , I told her I already know that the manager is a man and she said he's not there so she's acting manager. I hung up. Because she didn't even know how to correct a card transaction yet or fix a mixed up order .so there's no way she was manager. She new what she had done and other most likely were calling .. she gave the woman in front of us the wrong things to n she gave them back. Smh. That's horrible. And got charged $11.00 for a small plain cone and a medium Heath blizzard .. wrong it should have been nine with me rounding up.. this is not the first time with a mess up. But people make mistake. This woman was out of control rude and was doing it to others also n the to pull what she did on the phone. Just sad. The worst she was not a young teen..i i he you can get this fixed....
Read moreI’m usually not one to complain but If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would! I have had issues with this Dairy Queen every time I have been there however I just received some really good BOGO Cupons in the mail for this Location only so I figured I’d try them out again. I went there only to be told that they don’t have cheese curds, fine. I asked for a chicken sandwich to go with my burger instead and they said sure. I got to the window, gave them my money, waited 10 minutes before finally flagging someone down. When I asked where my food was the lady responded it’s been cooking (I could clearly see the “cook” standing there taking with someone the entire time my food was supposed to be “cooking”) I said sure I get that but I’ve been here for 15 minutes. The lady slammed the window. Then immediately after my conversation with the woman I looked back in only too see the “cook” warming up two burgers in the microwave for me. I said no I’ll take those fresh so hey made me fresh ones. When the “cook” came to the window with my food he goes “oh yeah my bad I forgot we outta chicken” I proceeded to say you couldn’t have told me that any sooner. I’ve been at your window for 20 or so minutes now and he just goes “nah I just checked and were out” he gave me some money back and I just left. I would highly, highly recommend making the drive to a different Dairy Queen if you are in bloomington. This one has been a joke sense it opened and it still remains to...
Read moreI work in the food industry and I worked at a Dairy Queen for seven years of my life so I understand and know the struggles of running a business. There is no leadership or structure here. I visited on 7/8/17 around 7pm. Food was good, but they forgot my pup cup when I went through the drive through so we had to sit in our car and wait until someone noticed us sitting there with three hungry kids in the car. We decided to eat on the patio with our dog and got ice cream afterwards. There was one manager there and it seemed like she was working hard, but the teenagers that were working there were hardly working. There was one team member that had a friend in the restaurant at the time and he was just hanging out by the front counter. This was a male team member. Everyone was jumping positions and the cleanliness of the restaurant, yikes. The window where you get your ice cream the shelves above were covered in old, rotten ice cream and the walls were covered in dust. The tables on the patio were disgusting and rusty and the patio itself doesn't look like it's ever been cleaned. To run a great business you need a leader who communicated and set expectations. Someone who is observant of sightlines and the guest perception and it doesn't seem like this restaurant has any of that. Whoever owns this location needs to change it up or retrain...
