Long overdue, If I could give zero stars I would. Yea, the people are nice and greet you and is clean, got it. The problem I had was more of a “we just don’t care” and I feel it has been the attitude of almost all retailers since COVID started. I saved up to purchase the love seat of the couch I previously purchased there. The sales person at the time quoted me a price around $500. Came back to check, make sure it was not discontinued, same price. Here is when everything goes to heck, ordered through the phone, I specify “I want the loveseat from the same collection as my couch”, the sales person “looked” at my account and said “is on sale!” Around the same $500 and some change. Finally, after months of saving and a couple of weeks of waiting the couch is here, IS THE WRONG ONE! they sent me another similar couch, but a different collection. Called CS to get it fixed, took like a week to get an answer because it has to be handled by the sales person, not CS. I got the manager and his words where “so the couch you originally wanted is more expensive, you can pay the difference and we will deliver” I am not trying to be cheap, nor to get something free, just stating the facts. How is it my fault that TWO different sales people quote the wrong prince, take my money saying “yeah we got you, this is the one you want” and then is the wrong one? If I was at the store, before running my card someone says “hey sorry, wrong price” I make a better decision, maybe even buy the cheaper collection because it does look good. The big boy pants manager said to me (paraphrasing) “I am not going to lose money because of you”. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, BUD!
Photo for reference. One is faux leather, the other one is suede (maybe)

Read moreI had SUCH an incredible experience here today. I'm moving in a few months and wanted to see what couch options were out in the world. I was in the neighborhood due to errands and thought I would check out this store for the first time. I'll admit, I had a hard time getting help on the first and second floors, where HOM Furniture is, and didn't really want to go to the lower level where Dock 86 was, because the signs made it seem as though it would be lesser quality products. Thankfully, I went downstairs! I was greeted with a hello from an associate almost as soon as I got off of the elevator and I started to take a walk around. About halfway through my lap I was greeted by Jamero, as well as Ryan, who was training and on his first day on the floor! I told them I was looking for a new couch, probably a sleeper, and I wasn't finding much, so they stopped whatever they were doing and we started looking at couches. It didn't take long to find one that fit my needs. It was a little out of my budget, but I bought it cash on the spot. I did that, because I knew I wouldn't have a better experience anywhere else. No one likes shopping for furniture! After I decided on the couch, we looked at a couple of other items, but nothing currently available caught my eye. Jamero offered to help me find something at a later date, as inventory is ever changing due to supply chain uncertainty, and I will absolutely be taking him up on that offer. I know that $1,200 is a drop in the bucket for a huge company, but it's definitely some money for most folks, and I have no buyer's remorse that I spent it unexpectedly! So, thank you Jamero and Ryan! I can't wait to get...
Read moreI had a very bad experience with my most recent furniture purchase as Dock86. I am a repeat customer to Dock 86 and usually go there for all my furniture purchases. I set out to purchase a sleeper sofa, one sales rep was busy helping another customer but pointed out one to me and stated the cost was $599. Then Dan Baker assisted me. I told him what the other rep said however, Dan stated the cost was $799. I thought that was strange but went ahead with the purchase. Turns out the sofa was too large to fit through the door to my basement. I called Dan Baker about it. He then said "Oh you should have gotten the full size sleeper which is $599" I told him that's what I wanted in the first place but he never offered any such thing to me. To make a long story short, I received VERY bad customer service from Dan Baker and also at Guest services who said I had to pay a second delivery fee for the delivery of the smaller sleeper sofa. I think that is totally unfair as the first item wasn't even taken off the truck. It goes without saying, I don't think I will be returning to Dock86 in the future for my furniture purchases. Good customer service goes a long way and I did not receive it this time.
Dec62023 - Received call from GM of the store. He was very apologetic and refunded me the 2nd delivery fee. I appreciate the quick response to resolve...
