Panera, turning a bad day into a s^ty one. Just avoid this location especially if you have diet restrictions !!!!!
If you find my review helpful give it a 👍 Thanks
I came into the restaurant earlier in July I tried a summer pick two and I liked it but I couldn’t remember what I had. The first time I came to this location no one was at the front it was around 5 pm on a weekday so I had to use the self ordering option that day with few people in the restaurant it took over 15 minutes to complete my order with 3-4 people working the line. At yesterday’s visit there was a woman at the register. I figured since last time it took my order so long and there were over 9 people in the restaurant now with a few more behind me if I ordered at the cashier might be quicker. I couldn’t remember what I ordered for the salad and described that it has some sort of grains in it the person said it was a chicken Mediterranean salad ( this wasn’t the right salad) . I remembered the sandwich and order that sandwich and the salad WITH NO MEAT and no drink to DINE IN since it was raining. There were two people behind me and I tied to rush as the cashier seemed like she was busy. As a result the cashier skipped over asking mw if wanted the bread, apple or chips. I wasn’t given a buzzer and waited for an order that came in a bag and was marked TOGO this was my first issue. I looked in the bag and there was bread. I tried to remember as I had already went to the bathroom and come back to wait for my order if I was asked if I wanted bread. So I called out to what looked like a lead who turned out to be a manger. I asked her if I could have this for here and if I could have the chips. She changed it and apologized I didn’t make a big fuss but it did add a few more minutes to my wait. When I sat down I noticed the salad didn’t look the same as my last salad didn’t have hummus again I chose to not say anything. I finished the sandwich and chips. And started on the salad I got two bites in a seen THERE WAS A PEICE OF CHICKEN IN THE SALD! * I knew it wasn’t the right salad when I seen the hummus** but wasn’t going to make any more fuss but the chicken was the last straw! This was it for me I had to ask for a refund. The manger apologized again which I felt bad for she asked if she could make anything else and I just said no and left. I have been a vegetarian for over 20 years now and I don’t eat out much because of the fear of how my food is handled, Panera was always a quiet calm place I could go and not have a issue. Its sad to say not anymore.
Pro: you can count on a Panera pick two being a good budget friendly option.
Con: CHECK YOUR FOOD TWICE, DON’T expect to be asked the standard questions when ordering or just go to...
Read moreFood is delicious, but the service has been terrible since Covid. I’ve come here twice and the first time we couldn’t use our coupon, and both their kiosks were broken. There was no one around to help us so we had to ask the people who were making food in order for someone to come fix the kiosk. They acted like it was a huge inconvenience. There are no front registers so kiosks are the only way to order.
The second time we asked if we could use our coupon and the manager made us feel like a huge burden and told us we should go outside, drive through the drive through, and then use it there and come in to eat. Seriously? When she did open a register up front she also made a point to emphasize that she hadn’t used the front registers since before Covid, she rushed us to say our order as quickly as possible, and then she couldn’t even repeat it back to us because she wasn’t listening.
Panera shouldn’t mail out coupons that can only be used in person (not online or at a kiosk) if there are no front registers open and their kiosks are unreliable. We were also in the store for 30+ minutes and no one once wiped down the kiosks or tables. Gross! This store should be shut down in house if they aren’t even wiping down these kiosks that everyone is touching! I don’t blame the workers, but whoever is running Panera needs to figure this out because it’s a terrible model. Again. Don’t mail out coupons in this neighborhood if you can’t even use...
Read moreSeems to be a commonality with many of the reviews for the Richfield location. Employees are generally polite. But service is slow or confused whether or not the restaurant is busy. No matter what morning I stopped by, I had to inform the person at the register that they were out of dark and/or light roast coffee. While sitting at the counter near the kitchen, I witnessed numerous comments about incorrect orders, items missing etc. This morning, I overheard an employee inform and complain to what I assumed was the manager that people closing at night were not cleaning tables, leaving areas dirty. Speaking of dirty areas; the men's bathroom rarely appears to have been cleaned. I have come here various mornings for the past few weeks. The toilet in the men's room has NOT been cleaned that entire time. It is becoming more and more filthy. NO excuse for this. Yes I do still come by here for a roll or coffee in the AM. However that is becoming more and more distasteful and I would never eat a lunch or dinner here. Panera needs to make some serious...
