FUTURE BRIDES/GROOMS BEWARE: I worked with Jim and Kym to plan a 300+ person wedding well before COVID came into play. I booked what was suppose to be my November 2020 wedding a year in advanced and put down a hefty deposit. 4 months before our wedding date when we finally realized that our wedding wasn’t going to be what we signed up for due to COVID and we approached them to talk about options. They said we could have less than 150 people for basically a glorified dinner and no dance. Not what we signed up for! I could go into great length on how unsympathetic they were given our situation, we were not in a position to pick a different date and frankly they were not able to deliver on the contact that we signed, yet we were suppose to let them keep our deposit. Incredibly disappointing as my family has been dedicated to the church and my dad is a Knight himself (as well as my grandpa) and has been for many years. Apparently, according to Kym I was the only bride who had an issue with switching dates. If that were the case you think it would be a no brainer to give me my deposit back since we didn’t use your services. Regardless working with them on this was an absolute bridal nightmare! Would...

My husband and I had recently had our wedding reception here (at the Bloomington Event Center, attached to the KC hall), AND IT WAS PERFECT!! Jim was our go-to man and he covered everything!! We had about 300+ in their giant bingo hall and there was plenty of room for everyone. The dinner their provided was delicious. We had the roast beef, chicken and broiled fish for all types of eaters and everyone loved the food. Jim was able to meet with us several times before our reception and was very accommodating and made this nervous bride feel at ease every time we meet.
