This place is GREAT for kids to have fun! This is a HUGE warehouse that is sectioned off with different activities/ age groups. It's great if its winter time, raining outside, or if you live in the country and don't have many options for fun. Take anything you want inside besides the obvious- no weapons, drugs, illegal or dangerous items. You can bring in food, drinks, play toys ranging from jump ropes to scooters, bikes, books, hoola hoops, any type of balls, bats, computers- just about anything! It has free wifi great for texting your parents to check in, or parents to help time pass while the kids play! It has heat and air conditioning now (thank gosh!) Bikes, skateboards, scooters- anything that is powered by you, are PUSHED, (not rode to) back to the skate / ramp area. Bring your own safety gear. If you forget, they provide fcfs gear they have at no extra cost. In the front of the building they have a section for younger toddlers that has to be watched by the parent at all times. They have a section designated to art classes!! Very affordable pricing with entry to the warehouse itself being free, and classes offered range from $3 -$5 per person. ( They might offer other classes for more than $5 that I am unaware of) That's just cost of materials, if that! There are pastel drawing, ceramics, how to paint classes. You can check to see what is offered on the updated facebook page. Then go there during open hours and save your spot by signing up on the sheet. to the right when you walk in. The warehouse has so much to offer! Trampolines, balance beams, rings, vault (i think), tables to watch and relax, bathrooms, vending machines that wotk when they want too, resourse pamphlets, coloring station, hocky table, and more. The wifi is great, heating and air conditioning did make my rating go down , now up be since installing. I would rate the Warehouse full 5 stars if vending machines worked (though after machine took cash without providing the owner returned my money), had more drinks, ice machine, and ooened longer hoursis ran by few staff and volunteers. They provide adult...
Read moreFirst time there, was great they gave me a tour of the place. I made plans for my exercises that I'd do there, was gonna get a skateboard soon so was looking forward to doing that inside away from the weather. Practiced with a basketball and was thinking if I got good, got my GED, may I'd get a scholarship for collage. But as I was leaving they stopped me, confused me for someone else who had caused trouble that morning. Released I wasn't them, but said that the policy is no homeless people period. So despite me doing nothing wrong, even dressed up nice so it's not like I'm an eye sore. I'm temp-banned cause I let it slip to the guy giving me the tour that I was homeless. They had four people including the manager kick me out. I did nothing wrong and they profiled me for being homeless. These people even talked about God some, Greg who talked with me mentioned there plant project is named after a Bible verse apparently, now they cast out a neighbor that was born in this very town. I find this shameful. And while I may not be a man of God myself I've learned from others who are that this doesn't fit with any righteous interpretation of God's wishes. At this point even if they let me I'd still not be done, I need to see reform, and long term commitment to long lasting change. I will not rest, even in sleep I shall dream up ways of rectifying this injustice. When they sent me off I had said they made a mistake with what they have done today. And this is just the first few brush strokes of my...
Read morei came here for the first time to watch my friends in the skate park and was immediately approached and told i would have to dress differently next time due to my cropped shirt. i am an adult woman wearing a tank top that shows a small portion of my stomach in a workout room with no ac in 88degree weather. i was told it is against their policy since some younger girls were wearing crop tops and they had to implement a no crop top rule. this is absolutely ridiculous and antiquated, especially considering this is an exercise area and it’s extremely hot. they told me they could get me a tshirt from the back to cover up and i decided to leave. this is not an appropriate way to treat community members (especially targeting women) and that is the first and last time going since they police women on their workout attire. i really didn’t expect this kind of ignorance from a community oriented...
