bought a mattress on 5\4\2016 a week later it was delivered. they forgot the frame but went back and got another one which was nice. After a few days my back hurt sooo bad. The paperwork says to sleep on it for 30 days I could not stand it. I call on 5/16 and a very rude lady told me that if I did not buy their special mattress cover I could not return it even though it was just a few weeks old. I explained that the sales person did not go over this as we were very persistant on having him explain what we could do if we did not like the mattress and he said nothing about this. The rude woman basically told me too bad its in the paperwork. As I was persistent she called a manager and then called me back and said if it had no stains I could look at another one. I go over to the store and the same lady is there, rude as heck, my salesman iis off for the day. She then tells me the receipt has the mattress that is a soft, the end one. I told her that was not the one I ordered, it was the medium one, second from the end. She pulls the soft mattress out and shows me the tag it matches the receipt. Big deal, this is not the mattress that my husband and I layed on and choose to buy. Lucky for me a gentleman that was there when I bought the mattress recognized me as I was calling my husband on the phone telling him he needed to get down here. So this guy was nice, and figured out that the wrong mattress was ordered and I should get my mattress in 8 days.. well that is in 3 more days. I can tell you that my back has never hurt so much since my accident. My husband and I stayed in asheville last weekend and I got to sleep on a bed to give me some relief for a few days anyway. I hope the next mattress is better, I can't imagine it could be worse.. I would double check what mattress is ordered and you have to spend the money on the special matress pad if you don't like it and you can only exchange it once. and it cost you 150$.. I wanted to call purple mattress as they don't change and you get your money back if you don't like it.. but that is all online and my husband is a bit nervous about it.. But hey listen, if you don't like it you get your money back.. this place you don't like it your stuck with it.. Which one sounds like a better...
   Read moreI called when they opened on a Friday morning. This is the last move-in weekend before students started at AppState for the fall. So of course, most things are sold out. My daughter needed a mattress to move into her apartment same day. Yes we had one reserved already at matches from but they lost it somehow. In any event here we were last minute trying to get a mattress.. We were fortunate enough to get Rebecca Haley at BlackBerry Mattress. She is very nice sales person, but what’s more is that She’s a very nice person in general to have helped me in this stressful situation Last minute. When I spoke to her on the phone, she assured me that they had things in stock that would be available to pick up today, She Also listened to our preferences and And made a “personalized list” of the availability, etc., before we even arrive to the Store! When we got there, she was ready with the list in hand to show us what we needed and had all the answers. This was very unexpected service last minute. We had to drive to the location about 8 miles outside of downtown, however it was Worth It as a very good customer service experience and * I can’t express parents enough, that this is where you want to go for good service and good mattress options in Boone for your students. Rebecca also had headboards and pillows that also helped cross off things on our shopping list.
Lastly, most amazing thing was she got the mattress delivered in mere hours to my daughter’s apartment. Speaking of which the delivery team that was on staff was Extra to help this day named Daniel and Bryce and they too were very kind. In fact, we got to my daughter’s apartment around the same time as they did and they were kind enough to even wait a few minutes for us to get the key to let them in and they set up the bed frame and the headboard and all that for us without even having to ask. GREAT customer service was experience all around with BlackBerry Mattress’s and I will be using them for our future needs and making sure That every parent that I know that has students at AppState Are aware of the amazing customer service experience which Was a polar opposite to our experience at other places like...
   Read moreWe went into Blackberry in Boone to look for a new mattress for our Sugar Mountain rental. Our current mattress was too hard for me and caused pressure points. I took their little quiz to determine what type of mattress I should purchase. We were professionally and pleasantly greeted by Rebecca and we explained what we were looking for. She took us to the Nectar Classic, and then a few other mattresses so we could compare. We chose the Nectar and were told the mattress was already on order but not reserved for anyone. Delivery ETA was end of September. Since we were leaving Sugar at the end of September we asked what would happen if it arrive after that date. Rebecca assured us that we could get a refund if we could not arrange to let their delivery people into our unit. Well, I received the very best surprise on August 17, that mattress was in and could be delivered on Friday or the following week. I was anxious to get off the hard mattress and agreed to recieve delivery betwwen 2 and 4. At about 11:30 a very pleasant delivery man phoned to say they were running early and would it be convenient to deliver earlier? If not, that was okay. Well of course we were fine with it. Two men (I am sorry I didn't get their names) hauled away the 2 piece boxspring and our old mattress very very carefully. Then set up our new bed. They told us it would not be completely inflated for 24 or so hours. Even th first night it was so comfortable, and by the second night it was fabulous. We received a bonus of mattress pad, sheets, pillows, all microcrobialr, which basically does not harbor germs. My husband even commently on the professional, pleasant, and careful manner in which our old mattress and new mattress were handled.
