Mountain Dog and Friends — Local services in Blowing Rock

My husband and I visited Mountain Dog and Friends “The Dog and Cat Store” while visiting Sugar Mt. ski resort in North Carolina. We are happy we checked this store out! We met the owner Cathy and she was impressively knowledgeable about pet foods, supplements, pet treats, and many other topics “pet related”. Due to losing our beloved pet due to cancer we are seeking a holistic lifestyle for our other pups. Cathy guided us to look for certain ingredients and what to avoid in pet foods and supplements. I can’t say enough about her and her pet store. If your in this neck of the woods definitely check this gem of a pet store out. I wish we had her and her store where we live. Mountain Dog is our go-to local pet store in the High Country! The owner, Cathy, is extremely educated on all things cats & dogs. She offers great product recommendations and even started carrying Nelli’s favorite fetch toy (kurgo stones) once she realized we were looking for the product locally. She has a wide selection of food, treats, toys, medicine, maintenance products and home pet essentials. Great shop large selection, but if you don't want to spend a lot of money go to Walmart, everything in this store is of the highest quality and will last for years and will be the healthiest alternative you can buy. The owner has a wealth of knowledge of cats and dogs just her advice might save you a lot of anxiety. A must stop for pet owners...
