My friend and I were having a great time shopping, after spending over 2 hours in your shop we took our items up to the register. We both wanted to get a beverage from the coolers but we both work in retail and we do check expiration dates because it is habit for us to do that. There were a few that had expired and I chose the water and he got a can of pop. We told the lady at the register that some of the pop was expired. Well she made mentioned it to another coworker and she pretty much said it was OK, because they sell alot of the pop and NO one has ever complained. She then proceeded to tell us that the pop doesn't really expire and it's still good to drink. She then told another person and he went over and started looking at the cans and came back and said they were in date. We said it was the glass bottles so he went back and grabbed a magnifying lense and was looking for the dates. I have to say the cashier was agreeing with us saying that she does check dates when she's purchasing food or drinks just out of habit. Then the other woman kept trying to but in, trying to take over and ring us up. But the cashier said please. I am handling this just leave me alone. She then proceeded to walk over and complain about us to other workers saying that we were complaining about the dates on the pop being expired in the cooler. Then man came back and said come show me what is expired. At this point I'm getting upset and I finally told him to just let it go several times, Because he was making such a scene in front of all the other customers, over us just letting them know that there was some expired pop in their coolers. All I know is we told a cashier we just wanted to get out of there and go home and we would never come bacjk again. It bothered her and she said please come back again. We did shop at their old location before, and we enjoyed shopping there. But the way we were treated and the scene he made was way...

I love any kind of an antique store that has turned itself into a mall. What I mean in that is that each consigner has their own square and are in charge of how they choose to display it. You get some people who will just line things up as part of their antique business, and then you have others that will make an entire store window out of it. Those are my absolute favorites, and I love coming across them!
In PA where we reside, there was an antique mall many years ago at Washington Crown Center that was called Black Rose Antiques that was housed in the former Old Navy store. That mall was set up similar to this one. I have never come across another one yet until I found Mr. Darby‘s.
The very first booth I was greeted by was a colorful wall of fiesta ware. I, myself do not own or collect, but my best friend does so I quickly snapped a picture and sent it to her. I know she would love to see this in person!
I am very much into color coordinating and room coordinating so I also took a liking to the Pyrex booth. The oranges that they pulled together were absolutely beautiful.
My kids even found a booth that they liked that had Nintendo games and Pokémon cards for purchase. It is very important to also include the little ones when it comes to our adventures. They found some they liked and purchased with their own money.
I selected a few holiday magazine ads, and I intend to frame and hang this coming Christmas. With it being July, I am in the “Christmas in July” spirit, and loved that there were some holiday antiques, vintage and collectibles at the forefront to see.
They offer in store pickup and buy used goods. Checks, debit, and credit cards accepted.

I’m disappointed with this purchase and the lack of care in the description. When I arrived at the outlet mall antique store to pick up the item, the Santa figure was tilted forward, which wasn’t mentioned. For a price tag of $500, you’d expect the seller to be present for the transaction, but they were not. Originally priced at $600, the seller only reduced it to $540, and after some discussion, they took just $40 off.
The item had noticeable wear and tear that was not disclosed in the listing. Additionally, the lantern is missing the battery back, and the batteries inside are rusted. These are important details that should have been clearly stated.
I drove an hour each way, and while I plan to clean up the Santa, if I had known its true condition, I might not have purchased it—or at least negotiated a lower price. This is the fourth Santa I’ve added to my collection, and it’s in the worst condition by far.
If sellers are going to place high-priced items in an antique mall, they should take the time to inspect their pieces thoroughly and ensure the descriptions are accurate. This experience was disappointing, and I hope the seller improves their process in the future.
The owner claims they reviewed the video and stated the head wasn’t tilted, which is untrue. I saw it myself as I turned the corner into that aisle. While the fault lies mostly with the seller for misrepresenting the item, the store owner also has a responsibility to vet the individuals selling in their store. If items are being advertised on Facebook, the descriptions should be accurate. Given these circumstances, this item should be eligible...
