SO MUCH GREAT AND THEN ITS RUINED WITH MAJOR DELIVERY DELAYS

Bought a sofa with multiple materials and fabrics and a leather chair and ottoman. Absolutely wonderful staff. Huge showroom. And yes, some of the models are still very 90’s and 00’s but, I found a few more “now” designs that I liked and went with them. Super-personalized service. A complex full of materials and fabrics to choose from. Amazing attention to detail and fitting the furniture to what the customer wants and needs. Good input from your designer. He said no when what I chose would just not work, and encouraged me when I had great ideas. I knew what I wanted to accomplish and my designer helped me deliver my vision into reality. Great communication….. well, on almost everything. They won’t communicate with you once your order starts getting delayed.

My delivery date (which they never wrote down. GET IT IN WRITING) was set for 2 months after I walked out of the show room. I added one more material (pipping around the throw pillows) a month later. You can’t tell me that adding pipping a month later was the cause of the furniture arriving almost 6 months after I initiated the order. They say their manufacturer's policy is to not start until ALL materials are in their possession. To me, that's like not starting to bake a cake until the cherries that go on top arrive. That said, my salesman did tell me, he’s never done, nor seen a sofa come out of their factory with as many fabrics and material varieties used. Most of the time the customers just did one fabric and done. Booooooringggg! Clive Danials Home Boca claimed one of the materials was not in stock and that’s what caused the majority of the delay. But they never contacted me to tell me. Nope. Let’s just let him contact us to ask where his furniture is…… (Rolls eyes!)

Now, their saving grace is that they owned the delay and sent over a loaner sofa until mine was done. It didn’t go with anything in my living room but, I was grateful I finally had something to sit on while waiting for my furniture. I had liquidated all my living room seating before a move and had nothing to sit on in my living room till my furniture arrived.

In the end, what was delivered was absolutely stunning!! A sofa with leather body, opulent cloth seating surfaces and high quality fabric throw pillows blending the two together. This was all accented with rustic, densely packed nail-heads. I also ordered a full leather lodge style chair with ottoman which one can just turn to putty in, it’s so comfortable. All my friends and visitors comment on both pieces and love coming over to my place for socializing and drinks. I’m glad I bought them but, holy cow! The wait and lack of post-sale...

BUYER BEWARE! The worst imaginable customer service, refusal to replace or refund for damaged furniture and walls/floors from delivery, argumentative employees and management, and shady underhanded dealings lacking in integrity! I strongly advise that you do not do business with this establishment. Although the selection of furnishings is nice, the prices are very overinflated. We found several pieces through other vendors at as low as 1/4 of the cost! The customer service - from the “designers” who are glorified salespeople with no true credentials or skills up to and especially the management - is atrocious. We found a few pieces that we weren’t able to locate elsewhere and bit the bullet since we thought they would be perfect in our home. What an expensive mistake I regret more than one can imagine. It began with being lied to over and over about when we would actually get our furniture. We were told 3-4 weeks and it ended up being well over 6 months. Next they work in extra fees for everything possible, gauging you even more. Most notably, the pieces came damaged and their delivery men damaged our walls, floor and even our other furniture! It’s been a months long battle to get replacements and to have them fix the damage. The level of service is so poor that it’s hard to believe. Just because they are expensive does not mean they are goods. They have no idea how to run a business or treat people. I plan on going to the Better Business Bureau!
