Fit Food Fresh — Restaurant in Boca Raton

I highly recommend Fit Food Fresh. Overall, I give this service a solid A and will be a long-term customer.

I have tried 3 prepared meal delivery services over the past couple of months. Of the 3, I truly like and recommend Fit Food Fresh and one other (but, Fit Food Fresh is better). Personally though, I like Fit Food Fresh over the other service I also recommend. Below are my thoughts and comparisons of the two and why Fit Food Fresh is my top choice. The one that I did not like and wouldn’t recommend is Factor75.

Most important – the food. The food from Fit Food Fresh comes well packaged and a good size portion. I am never hungry and sometimes it is a little more than I actually need. The other service I recommend and Fit Food Fresh are the same when it comes to this.

Also, the food is tasty and well-prepared. Overall, I would give the food an A. On this point, I’d give the other service I recommend a B+. Honestly, I think the taste of the Fit Food Fresh food is better (even though the other one is also pretty good). To be clear, almost every meal I have from Fit Food Fresh is delicious and leaves me really happy. On the other hand, the other service, most meals are good, but dont leave me saying, wow, this was great.

One positive of Fit Food Fresh is the seafood is wild caught. Also, the quality of the chicken Fit Food Fresh uses in meals that are stuffed (lasagna, burritos), etc. seems to be better. I feel like Fit Food Fresh is using chicken breast for everything (and not lower quality dark meat). The other service, I haven’t been able to find out if they use wild caught or farm raised. seafood Also, for standalone chicken, the quality is good, but when they stuff things like lasagna or burritos, it seems like they sometimes use lower quality chicken meat. Fit Food Fresh wins on this point. Breakfast options. This is where Fit Food Fresh is more limited. The other service has more breakfast options. But, what I have ordered from Fit Food Fresh is tasty.

The deciding factor for me on any given week is the particular menu and what dishes I want that week. Ideally, I would order from Fit Food Fresh in light of all of the above (as I do like the food a lot better from Fit Food Fresh), but sometimes if the menu from the other service is more enticing, Ill order from them (or a combination of both). Over the past few weeks, Ive started to order exclusively from Fit Food Fresh as the options are usually just as enticing, but, as I mentioned above, the food tastes a lot better.

Delivery. Fit Food Fresh is much more convenient than the other food delivery service I like. Their deliveries come at reasonable hours during the day. For example, Sunday my meals have been delivered between noon and 6 pm. This is much better than the other service I like. The other one, delivers in the middle of night between midnight and 6 am. I live in a gated community with no guard, so need to leave my phone on to let them in. This is really annoying and I end up getting woken up in the middle of the night. Also, the food ends up sitting out for a few hours until I wake up to bring it in. This isn’t a problem for Fit Food Fresh since they come in normal hours where I am awake and can bring the food straight inside and put in my fridge.

Flexibility. Fit Food Fresh is much better than the other service I recommend with regards to flexibility. Fit Food Fresh you can order as little or as many meals as you want. Some weeks I order 10+ and others I may only order 3. On the other hand, the other service has a minimum of 10 meals per week. This provides a lot less flexibility and some weeks I may not want as many meals.

Pricing. Pricing is transparent and you can easily compare and see for yourself. From a pricing perspective, I think it is fair. I think they are reasonably priced for the quality, portions, and service they provide.

This company is absolutely as good as it gets! I had my meals delivered from Fit Food Fresh for about three months and I loved it. However, I decided I wanted to explore other options just to see if I could get better pricing and food quality since this was the first food delivery company I had tried. So I did my research and went to Deliver Lean. I thought their food was completely inedible and I cancelled immediately. And when I say immediately, I mean after the first meal. Yes, the price was lower, but I guess it’s true what they say….you get what you pay for! I couldn’t stomach any of it. I tasted a few of the other meals for that week, but after wasting my money on a week’s worth of food that ended up in the garbage, I decided to try Bistro MD. Their food is flash frozen and shipped via FedEx weekly. Pricing was similar to Fit Food Fresh and I thought since it was started by a doctor, it would be a good choice. Their customer service was excellent, but their food was totally flavorless (except for a weird aftertaste) in spite of the high amount of sodium on the label. Those two weeks were all I could handle away from Fit Food Fresh. I know there are others out there, but I had to go back.

As someone who has a busy life and doesn’t have time to cook or prepare healthy meals, their service has been a lifesaver for me! I found the Crazy Clean menu to be my favorite, followed by Plant Based and Paleo. The food selections are creative, nutritious and delicious and the portions are much larger than I expected. I'm a very picky eater (to say the least) and I have extremely high expectations. The owners, Stephen and Casey, have been both awesome and patient whenever I've have had questions or concerns. The only issue I originally had was that the food wasn't as cold as I would have liked when it arrived, so they added more cold packs. It took a few tries, but they corrected it and I’ve had fresh and yummy food delivered ever since.

I only wish I had known about Fit Food Fresh sooner! I highly recommend them and if you don’t believe me, try the others and you’ll see I’m right! Thank you...

FFF does one thing and the most important thing right: while most of other meals delivery services think we customers want to be star cooks, FFF knows that we mostly want to be star eaters (except for those who really enjoy cooking). FFF does this exceptionally well; think about you ordering deliveries from a restaurant, only that this restaurant rotates their variety of entrees and have new ones on the menu week after week. I once paused their service for six months (for unrelated personal reasons), and came back finding more dazzling choices of meals. (Just FYI: they even have real, cooked food for pets!)

I don't know if you guys ever watched FFF weekly self-made videos, they are quite fun (if you have the time to watch it through)! Maverick and Andrew stared in these videos and had a knack of delivering a cool sense of humor. Just send them your questions and they may decide to make a video on that topic! Try it!

Today I was back from a trip and arranged for picking up my order on my way home. Due to heavy traffic, I actually was 1.5 hours LATER than the pickup closing hours. Andrew kindly offered to wait for me for a while in office after closing, and then, after I contacted him saying I would be even later, managed to meet me at a nearby location to give me the order, bag still ice cold! That's like a service to a family member! Needless to say, without this order, my family and I would arrive home, exhausted from travel but still having to think about what to cook. (I was so appreciative of his perseverance in getting the order to me that I offered to tip him, but he politely declined. Hey, FFF boss, could you give Andrew a raise? He deserves it!)

Where else can you get a service with both such high quality meals and high quality service? I feel fortunate I live in South Florida...
