I recently had the pleasure of participating in a mosaic lamp-making workshop, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! From start to finish, the entire process was both engaging and deeply satisfying.
The workshop was exceptionally well-organized. The instructor was not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly patient, guiding us through each step with clear, easy-to-follow instructions. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some prior experience with crafts, this workshop is designed to accommodate all skill levels.
The materials provided were of top-notch quality, with a stunning array of colorful tiles and beads to choose from. The creative freedom allowed us to truly personalize our lamps, resulting in unique and beautiful pieces of art. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, fostering a sense of community as we shared ideas and admired each other’s work.
One of the highlights was seeing the transformation of our projects as they progressed. What started as a simple glass base gradually turned into a vibrant, glowing masterpiece. The sense of accomplishment when we turned on our finished lamps for the first time was indescribable.
Beyond the creative satisfaction, the workshop also provided a much-needed break from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It was therapeutic, allowing us to relax and focus on the joy of creating something beautiful with our own hands.
I wholeheartedly recommend this mosaic lamp-making workshop to anyone looking for a fun, creative, and rewarding activity. It’s a fantastic way to spend time with friends or family, or even to meet new people with similar interests....
Read moreExtremely disappointing experience. My friend and I attended a tumbler-making class on 6/22 and paid $50 each. Over a week later, we still haven’t received the tumblers we paid for.
We were told to return on 6/23 (a Monday) after 12:00 PM to pick them up. I made the 25-minute drive to the store at 1:30 PM, only to find it closed. I called the customer service number listed on their website and spoke with Azza, who informed me the store is closed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. No one had called or emailed to tell me that beforehand,so my time and gas were completely wasted.
Since then, I’ve reached out via phone and email multiple times. Azza keeps saying she’ll speak with Carl and get back to me—but never does. Eventually, she claimed the tumblers were shipped, yet I never received them. When I followed up again, she told me they were marked as delivered on 6/27, but not to my address. No explanation. No resolution.
At this point, no one is returning my calls or emails. Their customer service is terrible, and I would not recommend this...
Read moreHad I had an amazing time learning how to create a mosaic candle holder at this unique workshop in Atlanta! I discovered it through an Instagram ad and decided to give it a try—and I’m so glad I did. I brought my mother along, and we both thoroughly enjoyed the experience of designing our own mosaic pieces.
The studio provides everything you need, including a beautiful selection of colorful glass tiles and your choice of a lamp or candle holder to decorate. The instructor was friendly, patient, and very helpful throughout the process. A lovely bonus was the opportunity to sample traditional Turkish delight and sip a specialty tea—such a thoughtful and cultural touch that added to the ambiance.
One important thing to note: the glue requires at least six hours to fully dry, so you’ll need to finish your piece at home with the final grouting step. But don’t let that deter you—this was a creative, relaxing, and genuinely fun activity. I’d absolutely recommend it for a memorable outing with...
