Vo's Nails — Local services in Bonifay

I am in town because I am getting married and I'm having my wedding at a family members home in the country and I needed to get my nails redone so I called and scheduled an appointment for 530 for an acrylic fill and a polish change on my toes. I arrived at 530 along with a walk in . They took the walk in first then had me wait about 15 minutes for a nail tech . He started my nails and got to put the acrylic on then I was made to wait again for another nail tech. The guy who started my nails then started on another appointments nails. After waiting another 30 minutes I was told to sit at another station where I was getting my nails filed and when I brought it to their attention that one of my nails were lifting and needed to be repaired I was again told to change stations. Where they were finally done. So an having an appointment and something that should have only taken 30 to 45 minutes ended up taking 2 hours. And didn't even get my toes repainted and my nails didn't get done the way...

I have been a Vos customer since the day they opened their doors. However, I will not be any longer. I had my nails painted on a Tuesday in Chipley, acrylic powder with gel polish. $46. On Thursday the polish began peeling off one of my nails. I went to Bonifay to have the nail repainted. Then on Saturday, the polish peeled off a second nail. On Monday after work, I went back to the Bonifay salon and told them that I think they probably need to repaint all the nails because there was obviously something wrong with the way it was applied or the polish itself. They repainted the nails and then told me I owed $33. I argued and said I had already paid for the nails the prior week and it was not my fault that they began to peel. I was told they do not guarantee nails after three days. I’ve never had this happen before. I’ve never had gel polish peel after only a few days. I was extremely disappointed with the way this was handled, and I will not be back...

I'm new to the area and looking for my go to place for my acrylic nails. The search has been rough compared to what I'm use to & where I moved from. Also I've had acrylic nails since day one making it 40 plus years. (I cannot grow nails so I buy them, lol) Over the years I've been thru some nails & nail techs & have had great jobs & some not so great but my point is after having acrylic nails for decades, I know thing or two!! I do not do long fancy nails anymore or get fancy designs. I simply just want natural looking polished acrylic nails. This was my very 1st visit to the Bonifay location as for the nail tech, Cuc came recommended to me and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere was good & nail tech seemed to genuinely care about my nails & I felt welcomed, not judged or frowned upon & in my opinion that means a lot & she did an outstanding job on my nails so now I recommend and just maybe this is my go...
