My family and I stayed 2 nights. Upon our arrival we found the hotel under construction and our room was dirty. We found dead bugs, used lotion bottles, mold, hair...I have pictures. When my wife said something to Mike at the front desk, nothing was done because house keeping was out until the morning. In the morning I spoke to the GM, Vicki who truly only made the situation worse due to here inability to properly handle the situation and our discussion. When I told her that she was providing poor customer service she was shocked because she informed me she had been doing this for 9 years and never had a complaint, clearly I could tell because she didn’t know how to deal with an upset customer. I told her she was welcome for the feedback. Long story short, the hotel was overcharging for what it was able to offer and misinforming their customers. If I knew everything that was going on at this hotel, I would have stayed elsewhere. When the GM finally started to try to make things right, it was to late for me because I had to get on my meetings that were starting in less than 30 minutes. Horrible experience and horrible hotel and service. What saddens me the most, is I have never had to write such a bad review until now. Thanks you and I hope someone attempts to make this right vs just taking $20...
Read moreMy family and I were traveling to Orlando. We had booked this hotel 2 weeks prior to arriving because it's our "halfway" point. We booked a 2 queen bed room. The day we were suppose to check in I realized we were going to be late, so I called the hotel to inform them our checking would be almost midnight. The person I spoke to said it was not a big deal that they would have our room ready for us. We arrived closer to 11pm and the woman at the front got us checked in pretty quickly. We were all exhausted from our 8 hour drive we did that day and ready for sleep! When we entered our room there was ONE king bed and "sofa" (more like a lounge chair) for my two 12 year old kids, my husband and mysself to sleep on. This was not ok. We grabbed our stuff and went back down stairs, thinking there was a mistake. When we got back to the front desk, the woman was outside smoking and I had to ask her to help us. She said that we had booked a king room. I showed her where the email clearly said 2 queens. She became a bit more polite and offered to give us a cot bed, because she didnt have a room with 2 queens available. We have stayed with Holiday Inn many times, this is the first time we had this issue. We still plan to come back, I'm just hoping it won't...
Read moreThis was the worst experience we had ever had in a hotel. The front desk woman was rude, nasty and unprofessional. We had the reservations for weeks and are premier elite IHG members and notified the hotel we would be arriving very late. It was after 3 am and we were given the worst room in which the window was approximately six feet from the parking lot with a car pointed right toward us. We had no privacy unless the shades were drawn. We didn't get to sleep until 5am and the front desk called at 10:30 am to say we needed to be out of the room by 11. I told her we were just getting up and would do our best but we needed a late checkout. She said she needed the room but finally agreed we had until 12 pm. She then came banging on our door at 11:20 saying she had to talk to me. I told her we weren't dressed but we would be leaving before 12. She kept telling me to open the door. Finally she went away. We checked out a 11:45. She was outside watching us pack up our car. The day before our car had been hit by an 18 wheeler truck and the driver's side was smashed so rain was leaking into the car. We asked her for a rag or something to put in the window and she said no! This was the most unpleasant experience we had at a hotel on a 14...
