ALDI — Local services in Bonita Springs

I love Aldi - their prices are great and even though most items they carry are their own brand, they’re pretty good quality. I do agree with another reviewer who said the produce is hit or miss so you really have to look through. For example, I always flip over the spring mix container to make sure the greens aren’t going bad at the bottom.

I didn’t have the best experience experience when I visited today, sadly. They were out of a lot of items; they didn’t even have eggs in stock. Also, though the cashiers are usually friendly, our cashier today was anything but. She was an older blonde woman on register 1 who was being very rude to those who didn’t have a cart. She was scolding a younger girl who had placed her groceries in her own reusable bags instead of a cart, and also pointing out an older gentleman who did the same further down the line. She yelled at the girl to grab her groceries out of the cart because she needed it. I understand she needs the carts to place the items of the following person down the line but she could explain it in a nicer way to the customers. A lot of customers don’t realize they need a quarter for the carts and end up not getting one instead of having to find said quarter. I even heard her yelling at everyone in a snarky tone that if they needed a quarter they could come ask her for one.

I’ll still keep going to Aldi since they’re the cheapest of all the grocery stores around. And I do recommend it to others, just don’t forget your quarter, get a cart, and don’t expect the best...

so I'm really happy with Aldi in general. I think they have high quality and low prices. but I've got to report a problem I just witnessed. they locked the front door at least 2 minutes early and I noticed one customer turned back 2 minutes before the hour and one customer turned back 1 minute before the hour. I think if you're going to be a brick and mortar place and other people are going to get in their transportation devices and come to you, you need to make sure you stay open until the posted time. add an amount to that to cover any inaccuracy of your timekeeping device. it's a problem that's quite common in the US. but I'll keep reporting it. it's quite the investment to travel to the store. there needs to be some assurance that if you get there during operating hours...

WOW! Just dropped a jar of pickles while in line at Aldi. Obviously I was embarrassed and disappointed for trashing the whole isle and holding up everyone else in line. I was blown away by how the cashier handled it at 7:30 pm. James the cashier handed me a bunch of paper towels, finished ringing my transaction and told me to get another jar on the way out. Then he jumped over to another register and was ringing other customers within about 30 seconds. All with a great attitude! Customer Service at it's finest!!! I just started shopping at Aldi on Bonita Beach RD. and don't know if they are all like this, but the more I shop there the more reasons I find to...
