Harbor Freight — Local services in Bonita Springs

Normally love this store, shopped here Probably 100 times and never had an issue! Had plenty of issues with tools but the cashiers have always been happy to assist and find a solution to any problems and I would always leave With a solutions to the issue for the most part. Until today. I shopped and then went outside to retrieve an unused tool to return, I was returning because the tool was not the correct one for the job and it was un used. I attempted to return with the casher a women names Selena. She was immediately rude and showed her feelings of disgust that I was attempting to return a product and made sure it was not an easy process. “Why you returning it” ? “ When did you buy it?” Both questions were asked before I even could open my mouth, I informed the cashier “Selena” that the product was Purchased by an employee of mine a few days ago, And that the product was unused and I just needed to return it, and I would happily take store credit as I needed to purchase Something different, She immediately responded they don’t take items for store credit and if it wasn’t under my number she wouldn’t be returning the product at all. I could tell she was going to make this as difficult as possible for me so I just paid for my new items and left. I shop at Harbor freight specifically for the fact that returns have been easy in the past as long as the item is not damaged due to Negligence. I spent lots of money at the store for this specific reason I use a lot of tools at work The tools are not necessary that we Originally assume will be. I wanted to hassle I would go to Home Depot. I would second-guess anymore due to the The cashier acted this way towards me and my attempt to return the product. Why would you take that unused? I didn’t even Want cash just for something else! If you don’t wanna work in a hardware store, then don’t maybe Starbucks is hiring, but don’t be rude to a repeat customer for no reason! None of us want to work...

Horrible experience! I purchased two 1/3 HP sump pumps from The Bonita Springs Harbor Freight on 5/29/2024. I put both units in my truck unopened after purchasing. I went to the store to return them the following day with my receipt. And I was told one of the two boxes had been opened and the submersible pump was used. I could clearly see that it was used, but I never open the box nor did I use it in the 12 hour time span that I purchased it. I was refused the refund and made to look like a liar. When I asked how did a used open box sump pump get in their store and sold to me in the first place, I was told by the manager Angelia that It couldn’t of happened, and I was the one that opened the box and used the sump pump and tried to return it. so now I have a used sump pump that I purchased under the understanding that it was new and they won’t allow me to return it. It would’ve been Nice if they would have at least attempted to find out if the item had been returned previously by a different customer, but it was much easier for them to make me out to be a liar. Very Friendly Staff! I went in to buy a Bauer Cordless inflator/deflator, knowing beforehand, due to checking the website, there may have been one or less on hand. Once I walked in the store, I was honestly lost but Andrew asked me if I needed help looking for anything and pointed me in the right direction. I still couldn’t find the item and asked if he was sure it was over there, he personally checked the back for me just in cause there were any back there and then scanned the floor for the item I was looking for and thankfully, he found the last one. I appreciate his throughness to help me find the product because I was determined haha. He then offered to help me find the rest of the items on my shopping list! It was my first time in the store and I was genuinely satisfied because usually when you go into a store knowing an item is low in stock, the store usually wont have it in stock due to inaccurate stock reports but Harbor Freight was accurate and there staff is helpful as well as knowledgeable enough to point you in the right direction if the product you’re looking for...
