Live in Virginia and needed to head up to Ohio seeing a friend who lost a sister so looking for a special gift. Went on Google Maps and asked for shops along the route and Olde Homestead caught my eye. Decided on wind chimes and called. Brenton answered and sent pictures of stock and we chose one and set it aside (no payment even asked). Arrived today and it was a great set up. Brenton was away but I spoke with helpful staff at both the farm stand and main house. Chimes were set aside and perfect plus we grabbed many more unique items (Chrismas sale had just begun). Having been to places like Harper’s Ferry, Chimney Rock, Gatlinburg, and other places of similar degree, I would say that none of those places compared to the uniqueness of this store. A lot of the items you’ll find here you most likely won’t see anywhere else. Great for seasonal decor as well as farm house style decor, to anyone who knows Hobby Lobby think of more handmade and personal items of that style.
