Pathfinder Farm Distillery Tasting Room and Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Boonsboro

My wife and I are visiting from Australia and staying at Inn Boonsboro. I normally like checking out local breweries while travelling but were recommended Pathfinder Distillery for something different as all breweries that grabbed my interest were too far away. What can I say but “wow”? The reviews are bang on. I did the moonshine and cocktail tasting for something unique and I can’t believe how superb each and everything I tried was. Only disappointment was not seeing some smaller bottles on sale to take home as the full size bottles are a bit prohibitive for us going to the other side of the planet. I believe the tasting room is a new addition to Boonsboro, so long may it reign, hopefully locals and US tourists who are able to purchase more products help this...

In short, this place was amazing! It's a classic example of a family-run business, the kind you want to support. He is a veteran and he's doing this the right way, he grows his own corn, another materials he needs he sources locally. He showed me his entire setup and patiently explained the process. There's fresh fruit inside each flavor of his moonshine. Everything is done by hand and it's done carefully. I was very impressed with his setup. I was also impressed with the tastings. I decided to get a shirt, a hat, and a bottle of the orange cranberry moonshine. This place is definitely a place you should go to, and a business you should support. We have been fans of Pathfinder for several years, and were very excited when they opened the tasting room in Boonsboro. We’ve been there several times since their opening. Recently, we had the opportunity to celebrate my wife’s 40th birthday at the tasting room. We booked the whole place. What a great experience! They were very accommodating and made sure everything was just right for her big day, right down to the music and sound system.
