The customer service alone makes me wish that I could give ZERO STARS. Aside from the lack of even the most basic forms of professionalism and customer service this was probably my WORST experience since my family has moved to Barksdale. I mean Steves Cleaners has never been the friendliest establishment that I’ve been to, but it was black owned and close by so I tried to support in spite of.
Today I went to pay for and pick up an item that I turned in for cleaning. Disregarding the lack of acknowledgment, I proceeded to surrender my purchase ticket to pay for and collect my belongings. After the final charge was stated I attempted to pay with a card. After attempting to pay with two different cards on THEIR BROKEN SYSTEM, the clerk then asked me, “So what you wanna do? I would call your bank.” Ma’am these were two different financial institutions and then to prove a point I then tried two more different accounts and the result was the same, after which she replies, “yeah this happened to someone else yesterday.” So at what point do you acknowledge the errors is yours? And so what you wanna do? Really? What I want is to pay for my stuff and run out of here never to return.

She was very rude and condescending and insulting towards my wife. we did not damage our comforter we actually returned it the next day after picking it up from your establishment. We use this comforter during the winter and it was purchased last year. The lady was saying how our comforter was old and that we damaged the comforter that it look cheap and we could not have paid that price for our comforter. Very insulting and unprofessional. Customers are cash cows only to you all it seems and customer satisfaction does not matter. It is pretty sad to have gone through this experience. I believe in fairness and respect. The tone she gave was uncalled for. It was a tone to ensure it was her way or nothing else. I expect nothing from your side I just wanted to give our side. I am truly sorry that I have to stop utilizing your establishment. It did fit our needs...
Read moreIf I had the choice to give them zero stars I would. I try to give every business multiple chances to fix issues but unfortunately this cleaners has not. I have tried for a year! A year! Jean's from Cavenders 4 out of 7 have come back without the button and we were told "sorry these Jean's are not to be starched and we will not replace it" are you kidding me? I send a military uniform and it came back with burn holes in it! Again "sorry, we will not replace it." Pants have come back with mud on them like they were never washed. I will no longer be going there. Also, never once have they given a discount or free cleaning due to all their mistakes or them just not caring.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE! Total cost to replace the clothing has cost me $557.83!
