What an amazing program!! You wouldn’t believe how amazing this staff is at keeping the machine going and everything organized 200 guys under one roof great counseling every week mandatory groups every week gives you structure then they let you get a job and not pay rent for months I saved up quite a bit of money!! I am currently in there grad sober house we have a beautiful Christmas tree our Christmas party is next week so much support and never once did I feel judged or looked down on or was ever treated but with the most respect!! Read moreI was thrown out for looking "tired" while another client failed for fentanyl and was allowed to stay I passed 3 drug tests but it apparently didn't matter.......well I'm back and it's 4 years later and I'm 15 months sober In retrospect the hope house did the right thing, I was not ready to get sober and my lethargy and over sedation was both a nuisance and distraction to others . Although I wasn't using fentanyl like they thought it really didn't matter as I looked just as high. Anyway I just wanted to thank the hope house for the chance that they gave me...and wish the program and it's residents nothing...
Read moreI was able to get into the original hope house in the south end over 20 years ago through a friend Alex and Brian Tullos who i just recently found out is amazingly still helping people at the hope house to this day. I may not have known it at the time but I realize now that the Hope House and Brian helped lay down the groundwork for me to get off heroin which was the hardest thing I ever had to do in my entire life. Things are far from perfect my health is bad I still need to take care of some things in my life but I am so grateful to not have to die with a needle in my arm today. I am grateful for...
