If you have the chance to read this prior to signing up for a membership please proceed with caution. Scott signed me for a membership last year that was supposed to be month to month no contract because I was traveling to work in the area. Well I got charged for the second month which wasn’t a big deal I forgot to let them know I no longer needed the services so I called him because I wasn’t in the area anymore due to being on a different jobsite, Scott found it to be inconvenient and humorous that I asked them to no longer charge the card and Cancel any future services. Well here we are 3 months later with over 50+ attempts to charge my card anyways after I have emailed and called this business. SCAM artists. I literally wrote an email stating I no longer wanted the services and was charged for the month of December despite not using the gym and he continues to attempt billing on January and February. Then refers that he needs it in writing, that’s what the email...
Read moreTerrible experience with the general manager, Scott. They charge $15 per month to rent a small cubby hole locker that barely fits my shower caddy. There are PLENTY of full length lockers in their HUGE locker room that are always empty. I reached out to Scott letting him know that I go to work right after the gym 5 days a week and therefore need to keep a significant amount of personal care items in my locker to get ready every day. The cubby hole lockers are simply not big enough. Scott told me that those are the only ones that they rent and when I asked why he said "because those are the ones designated for rental" and when I said that is not a reason and makes NO sense, he patronizingly told me that I am entitled to my opinion, but that's the rule. As the GM (he let me know there is no one else above him that I could speak to) he can change the stupid rule, but would rather power trip than satisfy a...
Read moreAs a first time user of this gym, 5/5!
The gym was spacious, clean, well maintained, and had a variety of machines or free weights across the gym for usage. Everything was organized and labeled for all to have access to and workout efficiently.
As a guest for the first time, it’s complimentary and then you pay $20 for each visit. I’d say it’s worth the first visit and many more leading to becoming a member if you desire to.
As for a gym, amenities matter when it comes to price and a membership is worth it for what you get at New Balance Fitness Club.
An additional perk is they will validate your parking if you need to park in the 15 Guest St. parking garage. ✨No other parking garage gets a validated parking ticket in the area.
Above all, it’s worth it and for all my gym goers, check...
