The Brighton Emporium — Attraction in Boston

I came to visit this store because I had seen their advertisements all over Facebook & it seemed interesting. However, this store is extremely overpriced, super tiny, which in their videos, it looks like a really big place. I will say though, the store is very organized & clean, but not a place for us collectors looking for budget friendly finds.

I take issue with your assertion that my opinions are 'completely inaccurate' and 'misguided.' My review was based on my own observations and feelings, and it's not up to you to dictate what I should or shouldn't feel. Furthermore, I never claimed that your store's prices were 'unreasonable' or 'uncompetitive,' but rather that they were 'overpriced' for my personal budget and preferences as a collector.

Regarding the size of your store, I stand by my description of it as 'super tiny.' While you may have 1300 sq. ft. of space, the store felt cramped and overwhelming to me. This is not a 'false' or 'inaccurate' observation, but rather my personal impression.

Though this is listed as a vintage clothing store, it is so much more! Artist, collectors, makers and designers each with their own stalls within the space show off their wonderful works and treasures to market and sell. So many things to linger over and explore: beautiful, funny or striking clothing from several eras, jewelry both vintage and new made by local artisans, posters and prints from the 60s and 70s or collections from graphic artists creating right now. One could spend so much time exploring and you’re sure to find just the thing. My Christmas list has already started. Such a cool shop. Possibly one of if not the coolest shop in Allston. Lot's of nostalgic trinkets, old media, trading cards, vhs tapes as well as some unique creations such as miniature whiskey bottles, miniature pirannha plants, barbie doll collages, and pizza anf pretzel shaped pipes. By far though, their bathroom has to be one of the most unique and interesting ones I've seen in Allston. Festooned with movie memorobillia and some cool frog and flower art.
