Royal Caribbean Cruise Port — Local services in Boston

I was on the allure of the seas Jan 19-22 and my friends and I sat down for dinner on deck 3 around 845pm. The table directly behind us (person sitting at table behind me was 5 inches from me because seats were so packed together) got into a huge nasty fist fight that was honestly terrifying. I got shoved into the table, plates and silverware were flying everywhere. It was a huge commotion and I had PTSD trauma from it. I have rarely felt unsafe like that before in public. Staff just stood there staring at them, these two guys were going to kill each other. My boyfriend and my friends husband had to break it up. Finally security came about 10 min later and escorted them out.

It was terrifying. We went to talk to guest services and the woman who was the manager on duty, never apologized. She just said “I’m my country in Spain, people fight all the time and it’s no big deal.” We were shocked at the response. My boyfriend met with security and they told him that they will schedule an additional security and safety training for their staff but at the same time they said there was no failure in their end.

I just kept thinking what if I or someone in my party could have easily gotten hit or if I was pregnant then what if I had gotten shoved into that table like I had. I cannot believe that they didn’t even apologize ot do anything for us. It ruined our night, our last night, as I spent the rest of the night In our room so shaken from it.

Just informing everyone on this instance because I won’t ever cruise Royal again. Their lack of empathy, accountability and acknowledgment was truly shocking. I don’t have faith in their security.

Went on Anthem of the Seas in April, one and done. Never cruised before. Food was pretty good, that's about it. Boat constantly rocking until we hit the Bahamas. Bounce off the shower walls, things falling of shelves in bathroom. Shows: We will Rock you, being a Queen fan poor Freddy Mercury is rolling in his grave. Spectra was great for what we seen, stopped halfway through. Boat was rocking. Terry Lavalle extremely talented. The Gift good show Comedy Matt Yee a riot...other than that not worth the money. Casino was constantly closed, cancelled the Coco cay island private cook out every one paid for. Was told by another passenger it was her 5th cruise and has been cancelled every time. They lost my information that I prepaid for everything 3 times. Tried to tell me I had to call my bank from the Ship phone in guest services and not my cell. I think not...most of the staff were friendly except a few. Vendors setting up in the shopping area constantly wanting you to spend money. Should have more activities for adults. The Captain: I felt he should have been in the crowd at the end shaking hands and kissing babies, doing photos etc. Instead about a 15 second speach and disappeared. More feeling like he was get off my ship so more suckers can get on. I have constantly tried contacting RCCL spoke with one or two people. Wrote emails and get no response. Like I said...

I'm absolutely disgusted with your company. We had been cruising with your company since 2004 with the exception of a few Disney cruises we mixed in. We booked our cruise for our son's 18th birthday and we're still on the Odyssey, he turns 18 the day we get off the ship Sunday, the day we disembark. We were told when booking he'd be fine on the Solarium and the adult shows and activities by the Royal Caribbean's customers service. When we got on the ship it was a completely different story. He got hassled in the Solarium and tonight he got kicked out of the Music Hall. To make matters worse we watched the staff only scan the boys for age and totally bypass multiple girls on the dance floor who looked younger than my son. When I confronted Joshua and his Supervisor about it I just got blown off. After dropping close to 10k between room, specialty dining, drink packages and your excursions on this trip with expectations being set by your staff on the phone that weren't met and then watching the sexist display of you're security staff who only ID'd boys in the Music Hall to say I'm disappointed and will look into escalating this issue further when we...
