Marlin's Furniture — Local services in Bowling Green

If I could give negative stars I would. There's not that many options in Bowling Green but I'd go anywhere else. We gave a down payment for a bedroom set after we were told it would be there in October. After reading the receipt it was December. We found the same set from Coleman furniture online for $600 less with free shipping and install. They also allow returns where at Marlins all sales final. They obviously don't stand behind their product and don't allow returns if needed. When I called to get refunded, Alex grew increasingly mad and ended up yelling at me saying he doesn't need to give my money back. He said he runs the show there and the other employees (including Milton, the owner) didn't know how to put the order in correctly with a different supplier. He was arrogant and rude and I would never ever recommend their store. Order it online and save hundreds with free delivery, installation, and exchanges if you are at all unhappy for any reason.

It's not that some people can not be pleased its the unprofessional response and yelling. I asked originally to be refunded to find another piece at your store when Alex went overboard yelling. It was later I realized there are cheaper stores with the same product and better service. Reading the other reviews shows others feel the same. Little choices in town make it hard for some to realize how much is out there beyond Bowling Green. You wouldn't be so upset about a refund if you didn't need a sale. We started shopping for 2 power recliners and matching sofa or loveseat in our local town. We went to E-Town twice and then to Bowling Green 4 times visiting every furniture store for at least one hour trying to find the right fit style and color. Prices are high for high grade furniture so please shop and compare well. our last stop was Marlin's furniture. We kind of knew when we walked in that we would be leaving with two recliners and a couch or loveseat. among other brands there was Lane Furniture Parker furniture and Simmons furniture and we had walked in at a 40% off sale. Alex Marlin has been selling furniture and household goods his entire life and he will tell you if he doesn't know he will look it up and get the right answer for you. We purchased furniture from Marlin's furniture because it was priced lower than the rest of the stores and we still got name brand furniture with power features and backup batteries for the furniture and covering changes and delivery priced still under the rest...

Rude as hell cheaply made Furniture bought a entire house furnished from There and I’m telling you do not buy from here !!!!! The chairs Arrived broken and no time broke again the legs on the chairs very fragile and break !!! It’s so cheaply made!!!!
