Make sure to do you homework before buying a home with an HOA managed by Zuber Realty. They have extremely strict HOA rules making it impossible to enjoy your home and neighborhood. We own our home - not renters. The Zuber Realty staff is the most unprofessional, unreasonable & rude people I have ever encountered. Our neighborhood has extra parking spaces behind our home but have signs that say guest parking only - so the actual residents of the neighborhood cannot park there. That's the complete opposite of any HOA neighborhood rules that we have lived in - normally resident parking is prioritized & guests cannot take up resident extra spaces but no not here - they require all these "guest parking" spaces to remain empty day after day saving the spaces for the rare occasion that residents have a guest over. So if you have 2 cars that do not fit in your driveway they will threaten to tow you and the solution they gave us was to sell our car. I was using the "guest parking" to unload some groceries and boom a letter with a $100 fine right away the next day. However the same couple cars park in the "guest parking" every single night and do not get fines - so I guess if you are white or friends with the HOA board members that live in the neighborhood then they let you park in the "guest parking". We are the only non whites in the community and seem to be getting the most letters and fines for very minor things. And now that we have been in compliance they are making up new rules to try and give us violations. They did not allow us to have a basketball hoop and our kids cannot play outside without receiving a letter and a $100 fine the next day but other families have large toys, strollers and such scattered all over their lawn and receive no repercussions. The office is constantly sending us letters and fines while our neighbors do the same things and do not receive any letters or fines. They threaten to tow our car because it was one inch over the driveway into the street but our neighbor parks with half of his car in the street and nothing happen to him when we asked him. As soon as we fix any "violations" that they harass us about they find something else and make up new HOA rules as they go along. I am all for keeping the neighborhood clean and everything but this place is completely out of hand.
