Dollar General — Local services in Braidwood

I was hoping there would never be a day where I had to give such a negative review on an establishment but it finally came. It was my first time at this specific Dollar General and will NEVER go back! The store itself is fine, clean-ish and shockingly organized. The reasoning of me never returning and giving it 1 star is for the woman who waited on me. There was a delivery guy before me, she walked out with an attitude rang the bell a few times looking him dead in the eye, then told him "there's a bell there for a reason" once she got to me, I had a basket full and it wasn't all fitting she said and I quote "come on! Just put it all up here" (I had my 6 year old with me) so he hurried and grabbed the 4 tubes of paint and put them inside a planter pot that I had just placed onto the counter (there was no more room on the counter) she snapped at him (I won't post what she said because it contains foul language) he tried to contain his tears. It was at that point when she said what she said to my son that I told her to go ... Herself and left. She wasn't wearing a name tag but was an older lady probably late 50s, short blonde/grey hair. I called corporate as soon as I got out to my car. This woman, even if she was having a bad day, does NOT deserve to work...

Not a nice Experience!!!! I purchased items, And No Prices Are Showing, At the cash register!!!!!! What a Gimic!!!!!! Her name on the receipt, Is Sherry, I politely Asked her if She can tell me ,What the Items, Are Ringing up, She Was To busy talking about her Weight Loss!!!! With the ppl behind me!!!! Now That's Customer Service!!! I went across the street to Family Dollar, They were Extremely Kind!!!! I got a pack of children's underwater, for twice as much, in the pack, Same Price!!!!! at Family Dollar!!!! So I bring the pack, Right back, To Dollar general!!! Same Lady!!! Sherry!!! I heard her being polite, And saying have a good Day!!! When they Left in front of Me, She is Not Nice Again, And tells me, My refund has To go BK on my Card!!!!! I told her I Always get Cash back, in Dollar generals!!!! With a receipt!!!!! She says no, That's not right?!!!!! I have been Shopping at Dollar General for Many Years!!! I Still tried to be Polite , to this woman , And Said Ty, Again On the Way Out!!!! Again She Completely Ignored Me!!!! Seems Like A Little Click, Store!!!!!! So I am leaving this review for a shoutout for Chris one of the employees that was working on register while I was shopping at this location. As I was looking for a wallet which I could not find in the store, he was ringing up another customer when a gentleman walked inside and rudely started asking him where something might be. Chris handled this very professionally and not only directed the guy where he need to go but was able to tell him exactly how much it cost.
