We went to buy game cards we bought a xbox 15$ dollar card and a Nintendo 10$ card and some xbox games for our older son. The younger boys my 8 and 10 year old were so excited about the Nintendo card we got for them. When going to use it they noticed something I didn't even know to look for. The back had been removed and the numbers were scratched off so bad you couldn't read the code. I immediately call the store and spoke to Devin the manager,I informed her of the issue and she couldn't help.me and refused to take the card back. I told I just left the store 15 mins ago. She said " it's a quick fix this happens all the time,you just have to call Nintendo" my first thought was if this happens all the time why are you not checking the cards before you sell them to your customers? So I ask her for the number to Nintendo she said I dont have it,you'll have to find it mam. Then she gave a fake apology as I informed her I will never return to that location and would be letting corporate know She was completely unhelpful and quick to pass the problem on to someone else. After calling Nintendo I found it was NOT a quick fix at all. They will.give me the 10$ in 3 to 5 business days So there was nothing quick to this resolution at all. I would advise if someone is going to manage your location in a busy mall they need better people skills,better sense to be proactive and take the time to actually help the Customer vs passing the problem to someone else. Those actions are that of a leader and I didn't see leadership performance in your Westfield Brandon Mall location. Read moreDO NOT GO TO THIS GAMESTOP! I pre ordered an exclusive pop vinyl here and they said they would call me when it arrived. On the release date I never received a call. I thought maybe they had a late delivery and decided to give it a couple of days. However, they still did not contact me. I ended up calling them and asked if my pop came in to which they responded that it came in damaged. I asked them why they didn’t call me and tell me about the pop. They said it was “my fault” since I didn’t reach out to them and that since I was the last one to pick up my pop that I had the damaged one. I said I wanted the pop that I ordered in the condition that was expected. They told me that they couldn’t do anything about it and that I could either take the damaged one or get a refund. I know they could have done something but just didn’t want to, so I ended up going to another GameStop and telling them about my experience. They confirmed this GameStop could have contacted corporate. Me and my friend with another group of people were the first to arrive at the store to get in line but 2 employees inside the store stated they handed out tickets at the East side entrance outside mall already and said its to late. I advised that how is that fair when the mall is huge and we never got any notification about where to wait or stand.
