went to this location to do an exchange (purchased in another city as a christmas gift). told the representative I wanted to do an exchange and as I was pulling the box open to take out the bracelet the second he caught a glimpse of the bracelet. He immediately said the bracelet is nonrefundable or exchangeable. I asked the representative How did he know that information without looking up the account and/or at the receipt? He replied and “I just know”. I asked a couple more questions and the representative basically just gave me the runaround about why I can’t return or exchange the bracelet. Manager comes over and asks to review the receipt and lo and behold because the bracelet was purchased at full price (not the current sale price online) the bracelet is eligible for an exchange/return. The manager then says, but we can’t return this because it looks worn(GOOD BECAUSE IM HERE TO EXHANGE) I was shocked! to give me the runaround and then accuse me of wearing jewelry (and scratching it) that was purchased less than two weeks ago that doesn’t fit me at all (tried it on for them). The previous representative starts to assist me again with the exchange. Because there were no bracelets in store to exchange he began to look up stores that do have the bracelet however they were over 30-50 miles away from me. at that time I ask for a refund because the bracelet is too large for me and I am unable to replace it. The manager then comes back over and says only the original purchaser can return the bracelet even though I had the receipt and nowhere on the receipt does it say the original purchaser is the only one that can complete a return. The representative and the manager were not helpful at all. this transaction was...
Read moreWhat's going on at the Pandora in the Brandon mall that they have a bouncer/gatekeeper at the entrance blocking customers from coming in or even looking without giving them a hard time? Stopped by because I wanted to get myself a new charm to commemorate a difficult situation I've just gone through. The guy in the front was holding a few sale items in a small display in his hand, and he kept blocking my way and asking what I needed and if anything in particular. It felt like I was interrupting a family at dinner time, not like I was going to a store. Needless to say, I didn't go in. I didn't feel like tackling the gatekeeper, and didn't have the energy to convince him I was worthy. Another person who just wanted to go in and look around asked if they weren't allowed in after the gatekeeper did it to them as well. The Pandora stores seem to limit how many people can be in at a time, but this was a bit much. I was in the Pandora at Wiregrass a couple of weeks ago, and they had no problem letting customers in. This guy at the Brandon store reminded me of the goalies at hockey games when they try to block the puck from the net. If that's going to be your thing, then at least put signs up, or have the guy explain that there's not enough oxygen for anyone else inside, or something. Just don't be rude and make people uncomfortable. You're actually losing sales from customers that want to buy. We literally are trying to give you our money, and you...
Read moreI came into the Pandora store at Brandon Mall to purchase a bracelet for my son’s graduation. I had just gotten off work and was dressed down, but that shouldn’t matter when it comes to how a customer is treated. Unfortunately, I was approached by an employee named Angelina, and the experience was completely unacceptable. When I asked about the price of a gold bracelet, she responded with “$762 – but you look like you want the cheaper one,” pointing to a $74 silver bracelet with no charms. Her comment was judgmental, rude, and completely out of line. Just because I wasn’t dressed up doesn’t give anyone the right to assume what I can or can’t afford. I felt uncomfortable, disrespected, and out of place. Thankfully, another associate named Jenna helped turn the situation around. Jenna was professional, knowledgeable, and treated me with patience and respect. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. She went above and beyond, and so did the other ladies in the store except Angelina. Pandora needs to seriously address this kind of behavior. Judging customers based on appearance is unacceptable. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, especially in a store that promotes celebrating meaningful moments. I hope management takes action to ensure no one else is treated...
