Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Florida

On January 19, 2022 my Mom (here from Michigan on a visit) and I went to the mall for shopping and lunch. As we entered the food court she mentioned she has never had Chick-fil-A, I said oh then that’s it. Kenya was at the register and Mom said I’m sorry it’s taking so long I have to read the menu then mentioned to Kenya that she didn’t know what she wanted because she has never been there before. Kenya was very patient with my mom. After we ordered we moved down the counter and had to wait a while longer because they had just dropped the fresh fil-A’s for our sandwiches, which didn’t bother us at all. Fresh is the best. Taylor was very kind to us and mentioned thank you for our patience. While we were handed our food Mirenna grabbed a couple of cookies and whispered to a manger (who’s name I could not see with her standing sideways) and also to Taylor. She then placed the cookies on top of our bag and said “here I heard it is your first time here” as she looked at my Mom it made us almost tear up. You see my dad passed away a couple of months ago and they had been married nearly 40 years, so this has been a hard few months for mom, and for others go above and beyond for her to show her love and kindness not knowing what is going on means more than any of you know. I am compelled to write this review. so after speaking with Shannon i believe is the store owner for this location she informed me that they don’t support military benefits and giving a 10%discount to military is not good for business. I went to get food at this location and as I do I asked if the cashier can do the military discount I took my military Id out and she then told me she cannot do it because I'm not in uniform, I was shocked so then she called the manager Lynn who then proceeded to tell me the same I'm not in uniform so I can't get a military discount so then she proceeds to involve another supervisor and these 3 people working here telling me I have to be in uniform and they don't take military id to be honest this is the FIRST chic fil a that says this I'm disappointed. Not to mention when I stood there and said it's ok I'll just pay all the cashier then said to me was it's ok you can just go get your sauce. No...

Never Again – Brandon Mall Chick-fil-A Was a Huge Letdown Honestly, this Chick-fil-A at the Brandon Mall was a total disappointment. Compared to Chick-fil-A around the corner outside the mall much better And always so hot their food and fresh and delicious but brandon location you'd think they'd get that part right — but no. The chicken was dry and bland, and the sandwich looked like it had been thrown together without any care. The waffle fries were the worst part — they were old, dark, soggy, and tasted terrible. Definitely not fresh. I’ve had fries sit under a heat lamp before, but these tasted like they were from the day before.
