I've had a total of 3 negative experiences in a row here within just one month to make me write this review. Apparently, the staff here might dislike you if you: pick up and swatch the available product testers on the back of your hand. browse slowly between products and aisles. stay longer than an hour. take too long comparing and deciding between nail polish colors from the color chart. change your mind, remove items from your basket and revisit aisles to put them back. say "Hello" or "Could you please help me find the price of this?"
At checkout, I greeted the woman and she looked me up and down and just kept talking to her coworker while tossing my polishes in a bag, I could hear them clinking down as she dropped them. I didn't say anything. I paid and said thank you, have a good night and she rolled her eyes to call next customer before I could even pick my bag up off the counter. Seriously, what is with this place??
Second visit, 4 of the employees decided (again) that I was suspicious enough for them to glare and give me dirty looks while following me around, but when I asked one for help they seemed even more annoyed to even speak to me. The whole staff-to-customer interaction here is just bizarre and rude. I would've thought I was overreacting if my boyfriend didn't mention it after we left.
Then, to my luck today, I notice that one of the bottles of gel polish I purchased won't open (even with the help of 3 other people and a rubber mitt). So, I called the store, explain how I'm unable to open the bottle and ask if I may exchange for another one with my receipt (as written on the bottom). Lisa rudely replies that she "doesn't know what to tell me" and that it's not up to her to decide what to do, come in and see what the manager will say. I said ok and hung up. I'll just go ahead and attach my receipt so you can see for yourself that what their return/exchange policy reads.. Oh, and that I'm clearly a paying customer, not a thief.
I can count on one hand the amount of normal interactions I've had with people at this store. Seriously, it's just a beauty supply. Is it really that serious?? Just be indifferent at most and have some basic respect at bare minimum. Seriously, some people here are clearly still stuck mentally in high school. This is coming from someone who has worked for Sephora, MAC, and Lush Cosmetics; I'm used to cliques and snobbery that comes with the retail/beautyindustry. You can have natural sass and still not be deplorable to your customers. Do...
Read moreSeptember 4, 2025 So I went into this place again today because it was on my way home and soon as I walked in I noticed the stock more on the makeup center and soon as I picked something up it slipped out my hand and dropped and easily broke. I felt bad because I’m not the type to drop or break anything but I did today and I was picking it up and the bald Arub man came right over thinking he was helping me and I told him it slipped right out my hand and he told me it will be at the counter waiting for you to pay for it. In my head I’m like this is and accident and other stores would understand and they have so many products I’m like this one thing you are making me pay for. So when I got to the register the guy comes up and says my security seen on the camera and you have to pay for it and mind you there was no one in there looking at them cameras and I’m like you see it was and accident and it slipped right out my hand I didn’t even have it in my hand really. I told the girl if I’m going to pay for it I want a product that has something in it. As I left and came back she it talking to I guess she said the manager and told me I would have to pay for both and I’m like that has nothing in it and why would I have to pay for both she said it’s the manager not me. I think that is crazy where is the understanding because if that was you wouldn’t you want someone to understand it was an accident and I’m paying for it at least give me something I can use but nope. I told her that is ridiculous no other beauty store would do that. This place is a joke you act like it was a total loss for one small blush. I can’t believe you treat your customers like this and the beauty industry make a bunch of money. I won’t be going back there ever and I will let all friends and relatives know the same thing.
June 2025 I went in today and the store is nice and has a lot to offer but the cashiers have the worst attitude!! No hi how are you, no thank you, not even have a nice day. I don’t know who’s doing the hiring but you need new cashiers that are friendly and make you feel welcomed not make you feel as if you are...
Read moreI hate leaving reviews but I am very disappointed and will never go back to this place. I own a beauty salon and I spent thousands of dollars in this place. Not only I spent money there but I also recommended this place to everyone that came to my salon. I went to this place to buy just a pair of lashes that cost only $4 because I left the box of lashes at the salon and I was driving to do a wedding. I noticed that the lashes were out but you needed a key to release them. So I went and ask a worker for help she said she was sending someone. I waited and waited saw another worker and still bo help. After waiting for more than 30 minutes I decided to grab the lashes and went to the register. Some tall bald guy came and grab the lashes from me without saying anything so I thought he was taking them to the register so I can pay for them cause that’s why they do all the time. I waited in line for a long time when I finally got to the register he said he wasn’t gonna sell the lashes to me. I explained the situation and told him i was waiting for a long time for someone to help me. He was very rude and refused to sell them. He could’ve told me that the moment he grab the lashes not let me wait in line to then tell me in front of everyone that he wasn’t gonna sell them to me. I spent thousands and you gonna be rude and not sell me $4 lashes cause I grabbed them. I will never go to this place again and will never...
