Register Auto Detailing — Local services in Brandon

2/15/24 Wanting to utilize a Christmas gift for detailing my Chevy, I searched online to locate a reputable company who advertised as "mobile" -- coming to my home. After checking the reviews ("stars"), I chose Register Auto Detailing and called -- made an appointment with "Chris" -- no last name was revealed. A price of $189.00 was given to me for DETAILING -- including waxing, tires the works. The appointment was scheduled for a week ago, Chris knocked on door. In almost exactly ONE hour, Chris knocked and said he was finished and I replied "Already??!!" I walked out with him to inspect the vehicle and upon removing rubber cup holders from the two designated slots for cups, I found crumbs/debris -- had not been removed at all. He said he'd take care of it, as I continued checking workmanship. Found dirt/dryed water spots inside the doors, around the seals, as well as little white "specs" on the hood of my car; streaks/dirt on either side of the rear hatch and glass. The next day, upon leaving for an errand, I noticed what appeared to be dried soap on the inside of the driver's door, near the hinge/body and upon checking, the passenger's door was the same. I texted Chris and advised him I was not a happy camper -- he offered to come back AFTER I more or less got "firm" with him and AFTER he became argumentative with me. I finally told him I would "chalk it up" and not call the credit card company to dispute some of the cost, and that this is the first time I paid almost $200.00 for my car to be washed/vacuumed (not even waxed). Most detail companies just want to get your car done as quickly as possible. Register wants your car to be perfect!
