China Wok — Restaurant in Brandon

Zero stars is what they deserve. I ordered for several people. Everyone received what they ordered except for me. I ordered Sweet and Sour combination (just chicken, pork, and shrimp. No rice, no egg roll). Not combination platter. I called to clear this up but was told that they don't make that. I said that every Chinese restaurant does that. "We are different than any other Chinese restaurant." I don't think so. I was then yelled at by the cook, whom I could barely understand. I was told that I would have to bring my dish back and they would exchange my meal. Um, I'm at work. Hence, the delivery. Then, I thought that he told me that he would make what I ordered (even though they don't do that, he would do it for me). Meanwhile, my phone is ringing off the hook so I call them back to make sure that we were all on the same page. I was told again that I could not have what I ordered and again, being yelled at by the cook, still can't understand him. Then I was told that he would bring me some pork and shrimp and charge me an extra dollar. Mind you, the meal that was delivered is sitting here getting cold, and still not what I wanted. I told them to just charge me for the Krab Rangoon and egg roll that I ordered and refund the sweet and sour chicken. I was then told that I had to, after work; bring them the food that was delivered to me incorrectly in order to get a refund.

I have never had such incompetent service...

I don't normally leave bad reviews. Let's face it everyone has bad days right? Well for starters I requested delivery. That was denied because we are .8 miles out of the delivery area. I even offered to pay the driver an extra $10. Nope! So I ask a friend to pick up the order. I placed the order online, there isn't a way to pay online. So I call to pay for the order over the phone. They refused payment because she wouldn't have the card with her when picking it up. I then ask to speak to a manager. Minh, the jerk that answered, tells me flat out "no". Are you serious? I placed a $60 order and he won't let me speak to a manager about it. I again asked to speak to a manager so he hung up on me. I called back to ask why he hung up on me. His response was that the conversation was going no where and he needed the line for paying customers! Hello, I'm trying to pay for a very large order. I definitely do NOT recommend this place. I ordered vegetable chow mein from this restaurant. What arrived was a to-go box full of vegetables and only vegetables. I called the restaurant to request a refund as I didn't receive what I ordered. They told me I was wrong and that this is what chow mein is. As you can see via a simple google search, chow mein has always and will always include noodles. Apparently at China Wok that's not the case. Instead of issuing me a refund, they hung up on me and 45 minutes later someone showed back up at my door with lo mein, which is not what I ordered or wanted. I'd already eaten at this point so the lo mein just went in the trash. So, to sum up my experience, I didn't receive the correct order, I was told I was wrong and chow mein is supposed to only have vegetables, and was refused a refund and instead given something I didn't ask for....
