Sorry, this is going to be pretty long!!! I feel the same way as everyone else that has written a review for the Braselton terminal. I would much rather give them zero stars than to give them one star. I usually only order from Amazon because I know that I will receive my package by the date they provide, I also rather deal with UPS or USPS than FedEx. I ordered a pair of shoes for my son in advance to wear for school pictures this past Thursday 8/15. My package was out for delivery at 6:27am on Tuesday 8/13 it literally stayed in Braselton not one day but a total of five days, not to mention Wednesday the tracking said it was out for delivery at 3am. One minute it stated a specific time, then it went to end of day, we tried to deliver, we will try again the next business day. I reached out to this location on Wednesday and was informed that the truck had stopped moving by this point it was 3pm and there were no notes on why. I was told to call back Thursday morning at 8am to talk to the manager that is in charge of the contractors, after trying repeatedly to get someone on the phone, a lady answered she claimed she was going to try and locate the package and have them looking for it on the belt. She stated she would call me back before the drivers left on their routes at 9:30am. Guess what?? She never called me back, I called at 3pm once again I repeatedly tried to get someone on the phone, finally someone picks up, she then tells me oh we still haven't located your package, and I gave them a picture of the package. The manager never came in here to give me an updated. She said call back tomorrow morning Friday 8/16 I called several times this morning, it will ring and ring and then it's like someone ends the call before ever even answering the call. I had someone answer it does not say anything and then hang up. This afternoon I called the guy put me on hold talk directly to the contractor apparently, he dealt with this same situation the day before with the same driver. He informs me that the manager has talked to the driver, and it will be delivered today. Mind you there have been no updates to the tracking since yesterday when they said they tried to deliver and will try a final attempt the next business day. When asked about that, I was told it is simply a bad driver, he did not want to deliver your package Tuesday, so he put it off for Wednesday, then decided again that he did not want to deliver. He said the driver has been riding around with your package in his truck all week. I get a call a little after 2pm today being told that the manager did not inform him that the truck broke down two days ago and that my package is secure in the truck at a repair shop. EXCUSE ME, WHAT??? So, it went from being delivered today to now it was Saturday when I might get it but no guarantees. I go outside two hours later to find my package on my porch. With all this being said there is a lack of communication at this facility between managers and contractors and customers calling inquiring about their packages. No accountability, and the people in charge of the phones are ABSOLUTELY LAZY!!!!! There is no organization within this company, the females walk around trying to reel in the men that work there by wearing tight and revealing clothes. Like another person said in their reviews if you see your package is coming through FedEx be prepared for anything, it could be lost (which for two days they could not locate my package) to the lies the drivers put on the tracking information, to not answering their phones, to the theft that goes on here. Lastly putting that you informed them to hold your package or set a future delivery date when you know you didn't. Most IMPORTANTLY if you see it's going to Braselton, call FedEx customer service number and have them drop it off at a drop off location before it makes it to the Braselton terminal. This was BY FAR the WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had with a delivery company, most importantly I had to change my child's picture attire last minute because FedEx lied about the...
Read moreI need to know why three of my last four orders from Omaha Steaks which were shipped via Fedex were NEVER delivered to me. What is the problem? Whatever it is, it seems to be in the last short leg of the shipping journey (from the Fedex shipping center in Braselton, GA to my residence in Clayton, GA) as this has been the pattern on all of the orders. My perishable items make it from Omaha, Nebraska to Ellenwood, Georgia via refrigerated truck in two days, then one or two more days from Ellenwood to Braselton via Fedex. From there and sometimes a few days later, the shipment status changes to "Out for Delivery". Same update the next day, "Out for Delivery". Same the next day, "Out for Delivery". Then, all email updates stop and the package never arrives.
The shipper, Omaha Steaks, who so far has replaced all three of the missing shipments, told me that they would check into the problem with Fedex. I assume that they are since it is costing them a LOT of money. Not only do they replace the shipment of expensive meat, but they send the replacement shipment by air freight which they said would not go through the Braselton. I always receive THOSE shipments the nexr day or in two days at the most. Which is what makes me suspect that the problem is in the Braselton Fedex depot. That ... plus the fact that I visited their website and saw that out of more than 200 customer reviews their AVERAGE rating was only one star. Many of these Fedex were having problems similar to mine. A one rating is, of course, the LOWEST rating possible. Like me, I am sure that most of these reviewers wish they could have given this Fedex service a zero or even negative number review.
I just need to know "What is the problem?" I get every order I place who ship by other carriers. But Fedex? Forget it. My FIFTH order from Omaha Steaks was "Out for "Delivery" today. Of course, it DID NOT arrive, nor was I at this point even expecting it to.
I do not expect anyone at Fedex to ever see this letter. Their customer support is hardest to navigate than any I have ever had the displeasure to experience. But I will send this report to whatever Fedex email addresses I can find (as stated, they are not big on customer service. To date, I've only found one phone number for this worldwide corporation and no one EVER answers at this -3339 joke). If worse comes to worse, I'll just post it to the Braselton Fedex web site along with the other four hundred "1" ratings. At least my time writing this will not have been totally wasted.

Read moreThey did not update tracking, said they would get back to me about the investigation, they cancelled the investigation 30 min after starting it, never got back to me, and when I called in about this I was again told someone would reach out that was in charge of the case.. she never did. I called again and asked to speak with a supervisor where the representative was rude, talked over me multiple times, kept repeating himself, and flat out refused to transfer me as requested as he said that "I should use my energy to do what he has already told me to do instead of asking for a supervisor because I would not be transferred." Everything he mentioned doing, I had already done and told him this repeatedly, but he refused to listen to anything I said. He continued to be very rude and refused to transfer me. I hung up and called right back and let the new representative know what happened and I was instantly transferred to a supervisor as I should have been before. The supervisor stated that representative absolutely should have transferred me and the way he acted was unacceptable. They said they confirmed the package was delivered to who I shipped it to, but they did not provide any proof or specific confirmation to me as requested other than just telling me they did. Again, I was told the woman in charge of my case would reach out to me to provide the proof, and she never did. Eventually, multiple days after it was supposedly received, the tracking did randomly all update at once, but my review is for the run around, poor customer service, and lack of communication. I'm sure nothing was done about that representative who treated me so awfully.
