Being an owner of a restaurant myself, I always try and see the positives when it comes to negatively rated spots on Google. My fiance and I, we're on our way back home from a trip to Georgia and decided we really were in the mood for some good old fashioned Popeyes. Trying to save the most time possible we were fine to stop at a Popeyes along the way, that's when we set a course for this place. Upon arrival the outside of the building looked nice and I couldn't for the life of me understand why it was rated so poorly, at least initially. We walked in and saw a ton of people waiting looking slightly agitated, and two people waiting to be helped in line with no one at the immediate front. After about five minutes a lady stroller out and started helping move the line. When it came time for us to order she didn't know how to fully work the POS machine and required a good deal of help from her shift lead. She ended up charging us for an extra combo we didn't order and they had to void the order and issue a refund. Then start from scratch. Once we finally got it straightened out we took a seat at a booth which was fine. We waited, waited, and waited some more until it was 42 minutes in and my non-confrontational fiance had had enough and went up to the counter to see what the hell was going on back there... She was hungry, and that's about the only time she'll forego her usual social inhabitions. She ended up getting the food but they gave no napkins or utensils (there were no self serve ones to grab either) and an order of fries was missing. I gave her mine and just decided it was what it was. We wanted to eat, clean up, and get back on the long drive home. The food itself wasn't inherently bad, the fries I gave her were darker than usual, probably old sitting underneath a heat lamp for far too long. My chicken sandwich wasn't as flavorful as it usually is, same with her tenders. Anyways, people started cancelling their orders while we ate, and the staff kept joking around about it (very loudly, I might add) after they left. We finished our food and I went to the restroom. Upon entering I saw two roaches on the floor, one dead and the other scurrying away out of sight. When it was time to flush the toilet, I saw the handle was smirred with what I imagined someone else's feces... I usually don't get grossed out usually helping my staff clean and monitor my own restrooms throughout the day, but this was particularly disgusting. While I was there the staff were yelling at each other, seems they didn't enjoy working together at all in what I could gather. So we went back to the car and made it home safely after a few more hours on the road. After unpacking I felt hot, dizzy, and nauseous... Went straight to the bathroom and started terrible diarrhea. Amazing. Food Poisoning. What a great way to top off that experience. I now am forced to take the next day or two off to recuperate, because I don't dare risk my staff or guests to the same fate. And I want to say I hate one Star reviews because they're pretty damning to the owner/operator and Im upset even when I get a rare 3 star review for my place... But this has to be said, this is completely unacceptable. Train your staff properly, cook with integrity and care no matter what cuisine you serve, and read a book on hospitality. Do better

I was asked to "pull into a parking spot" due to them needing to make my strawberry biscuits fresh. I did not want to park directly in front of the drive thru since there was large pickup truck with bright lights sitting at their white line in front of the drive thru. So I parked on the side next to the door, in a parking spot. After about 20 minutes I drove around to the window again. I informed them this was the 3rd visit that I had waited for food 20-30 minutes. I requested a manager. The male who came to the window initially, stated he had come outside and "didn't see me". I told him where I had parked since the cashier had not informed me there were specific spots to wait, only to "pull into a parking spot". A black woman walks over and interjects, asking for my receipt. It was at this point that Jazmine began informing me that I had not in fact waited 20 minutes to receive my order at 7:24pm( my receipt printed at 7:06), before proceeding to locate my order. She was still holding onto my receipt, instead of handing it right back upon completion her inspection of the time stamp on my receipt. Under the perception that I may not have it returned, I said " I want my receipt back". Although it wasn't a warm and fuzzy tone, it was by no means confrontational, rude or nasty. She said " are you going to ask for it?" I responded " me informing you that I want it back is asking for it" she responded " no it's not, but that's ok imma put it right here( the ledge of the drive thru window) and you can take it from there if it doesn't blow away because I'm not finna give it back to you with you talking to me like that". The receipt says the "managing partner" is KEOSHA GRAY. I look forward to correspondence from an owner and will be contacting corporate, as this will not be the end of my complaints.

I visited this location to pick up a mobile order and provided my order number. The employee assisting me responded rudely, stating that the name on the order was required and dismissively saying, “good night.” When I then gave her the name, she sighed loudly and remarked, “whew child. I guess you can pull around” At the pickup window, I was not greeted. (Will say one lady who was bagging the food seemed to be nice to my pup in the car)Shortly after, another car pulled up behind me, and I overheard staff complaining and speaking negatively about both myself and the other customer for just simply being there . At that time, there were only two cars in line. I ended up waiting approximately 25 minutes and received nearly every item in my order incorrectly. At that point, I did not feel comfortable going inside to have the order corrected. Additionally, I was charged $9.19 for a 1/4 pound of shrimp but received what appeared to be only about maybe 10 small pieces of shrimp and mostly crumbs. I paid extra for an extra breast and didn’t receive it, also orders half spicy and half classic but there’s no way of telling what is what because they didn’t divide it , label it or anything. They were also out of chicken fillets for the chicken sandwiches I guess so they use chicken tenders Instead. So the only correct thing with the large Cajun fry and the biscuits:)

What can I can I say that hasn't been said previously below...Oh wait....That I was called a liar when I called bc my order was wrong, and cursed out with no benefit of the doubt even though my card was on file. So after that I was agin called a liar as though my MO was to rip off fast food joints for a wrong chicken order. Nothing is more welcoming and say come back to help make folks who do want to make a living than a manager that tries to trespass you when you just want what you paid for, which is theft. But ultimately what is theft is a manager who is robbing from future business from an obvious habit that is taking from their customers and the owner who just replies with

Thank you for being a valued customer and for taking the time to share your feedback. We strive to provide the best restaurant experience and are sorry to hear that your visit did not fully meet your expectations. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.\

The only reason I stopped by was bc I was next door at the other 2 establishments who could crazily get their orders correct. The reason I went back here was bc I thought there was a change in management but it seems you get what you pay for and the equivalence of an elementary school logic and a 3 year old temper tantrum is what I found replaced the previous even worse manager.

If I owned this store I would leverage it for the taco bell franchise fee for much less. Its not hard to get 3 menu items correct. Breast, Thigh and leg. If you cant get that right or admit your manager or staff made a mistake then you need to hire someone who can pass a drug test let alone knows how to talk to someone paying their wages through the business. I have the whole incident on video so I would love to see any rebuttal to this complaint but a sincere apology in person for irrational management reflexology of the worst kind is in order and a copy and paste of the above and below will only show the reason why this store has the feedback it does. If you hire these people to represent you then you are just as bad as them and they are a reflection of you and all the disputed charges and bad feed back. I have taken so many incorrect orders and wrote them off but when I was greeted with a phone call of being called a liar bc they forgot a receipt when it was on a CC then I dont know how moronic you can be. If you are reading this miss manager wannabe then that is very worrisome you have that kind of reaction to such feedback and I will see you at McDonalds at your next gig when we go there once a year in hopes of new management but their robots can get it better. So if the franchise owner wants to reply the below then you are the problem. If you need help hiring people that are on a 16 year old level like the manager you have now then you have my info with corporate but until then it will be more of the same. Review you call logs for today as well as your video and then my video and then see how it feels to have someone try to trespass you for what has happened. Would it be the same if we came there and didnt pay for our order as that is what is going on with your establishment you are "legally" stealing from your customers with no recourse except these reviews and lost revenue and theft. I have never been treated like this before anywhere for something i was charged for and didnt receive and was going to give you guys the benefit of the dount for the 10th plus time. Luckily I can now have Popeyes again off Hamilton Mill just 2 exits away with friendly remorseful staff. I wish I could post the video on here it would make all your fake reviews fall flat. I hope the manager who has her friends post BS reviews choke on a chicken bone or get salmonella, and I never leave reviews let alone have tried to of been trespassed for being a total was of...

Being an owner of a restaurant myself, I always try and see the positives when it comes to negatively rated spots on Google.

Worst Popeye’s EVER!!!! This was my second chance for this location after having a bad experience right after they opened. If anything, they’ve gotten worse! I have a large family, and I know large orders can be overwhelming, so I ordered online and gave them almost 30 minutes before I pulled up. They asked me to pull forward, okay no problem. Fast forward 10 minutes, we hadn’t seen or heard from anyone and I decided I wanted to add a Cajun rice so I went inside. Two employees, one of which was a young girl that seemed to be the shift manager, were sitting at a table in the dining room talking to each other and playing on their phones. Three young men were in the kitchen, and none of them seemed to have any idea what was going on. One of them came to take my order for the rice. He takes my payment then goes to get the rice and says “oh yeah we’re out of rice.” Okay, no problem, let me get Mac n cheese instead. I ask about the rest of my order, and he says they are working on it. Almost 10 minutes later they bring me a bag with my sandwiches, and another bag in which they have stacked multiple baskets of fried chicken, 12 pieces to be exact, instead of using a box. Perhaps they were out you say? I could see one laying on the shelf under the chicken. But first things first, where’s the rest of it? The rest of what, they respond. My order… they look clueless. What did you order? So I tell them I ordered a “Biggest Feast” and then they argue, until the girl in the dining room yells for them to print the receipt. She still hasn’t bothered to get up and come back to work at this point. They start working on the rest of my order which consisted of two half filled (supposedly large) baskets of cold, old fries, five stale, cold biscuits and five apple pies that they say they still have to cook. Still trying to be patient, I say okay, no problem. At this point, the girls comes back behind the counter and I ask if she can move my chicken to a box so it keeps better for the ride home. She looks about 18, but acts about 14 and heaven forbid you ask her to do her job, she’s much too cool for that. In fact, that was the attitude of basically every employee I saw, including the older woman that was wandering around. The only person I saw actually working that seemed to know their A$$ from a hole in the ground was an older gentlemen that was taking out trash even though there were three young, able bodied boys standing around talking and doing nothing. After waiting over 30 minutes from the time I pulled up to the drive thru, I finally got our food and it was as mediocre as the experience led me to expect. Maybe if this store actually had decent management that knew how to actually train employees instead of lame kids that think they’re adults but that don’t want to do anything, things would get better. As it stands, they should just close the doors...
