ONE STAR 😪⭐This review is for the service tonight. Service here has been okay for the most part, but tonight was a wreck!!! It's Mother's Day. We went to Biba's in Flowery Branch first, but they told us it'd be an hour and a half wait. We were hangry, so we left. We ended up at Cracker Barrel at around 5:20p, and we were seated fairly quickly... Took about 20 mins. Right off the bat, our waitress, Haley, took forever and had no common courtesy (until she realized we were upset aka no tip). We ordered our drinks and food all at once, and we also requested getting the biscuits out before everything else came. It took us around 20 minutes to get our drinks after being seated. We waited and waited: no biscuits. She would walk right by us without refilling our drinks or giving us updates on when our food's going to be done. We finally asked where the biscuits were and she had completely forgotten to get them. It was 6:40 by the time we got the biscuits. Our waitress would disappear for long periods of time throughout, and we wouldn't see her but about every 5-10 minutes or so. Usually I have a lot of sympathy for overworked waiters BUT she only had 2 tables the entire time we were there. Once we finally got our food, we were highly disappointed. We both got chicken and dumplings. The first thing I noticed was that there were pieces of breading and green beans in the bowl with my dumplings. I was hungry though, so I disregarded that and began to eat. That's what I realized that they came WITHOUT CHICKEN. We waited again to tell our waitress, and she literally brought 2 plates back, with just boiled chicken on them. That's all. No seasonings or sauce. It looked disgusting, as you can see from the photos. It was about 7:00 at this time. We wait an hour and a half for THAT. 🤮 Suddenly I wasn't so hungry anymore and wasn't able finish my dinner. I know that restaurants are short staffed right now, and servers are always having to scramble around; but there are ways to work more efficiently and be more respectful of the customers. Do better, Cracker Barrel. My last review was 5 stars, but this changed my opinion. The last few times have been unpleasant but this sealed the deal for me....

Review: My recent visit to the Cracker Barrel in Braselton, Georgia left me utterly disappointed and frustrated. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this establishment lacked basic standards of service and quality. Here's a detailed account of the horrendous experience I endured:
Dreadfully Slow Service: The server assigned to our table seemed completely disinterested in providing even the most basic level of attentiveness. It took an excruciatingly long 10 minutes just to have our drink orders taken, and that was only after I had to flag the server down. Their lack of urgency was baffling and unprofessional.
Unacceptable Wait Times: Once our drink orders were finally placed, we were forced to wait an agonizing 20 minutes before receiving them. This unacceptable delay further compounded our growing frustration and set the tone for what would become an evening of disappointment.
Subpar Food Quality: To say that the food at Cracker Barrel was a letdown would be an understatement. The dishes we ordered were nothing short of atrocious. The flavors were bland, the presentation lackluster, and the overall quality of the ingredients was questionable at best. It felt as though no care or effort had been put into the preparation of our meals.
Lack of Attention to Detail: Aside from the slow service and disappointing food, the overall attention to detail was severely lacking. Our table was left uncleaned for an extended period, and it was only after requesting assistance that someone bothered to address the issue. This neglect speaks volumes about the lack of care and pride in their establishment.
In conclusion, my experience at the Cracker Barrel in Braselton, Georgia was an absolute disaster. The server's apathy, coupled with excessively long wait times and abysmal food quality, created an evening of frustration and disappointment. I strongly advise potential customers to reconsider dining at this particular location, as it clearly falls far below the standards one would expect from a reputable...
Read moreThis was the worst Cracker Barrel we’ve ever been to. Joined the wait list at 0905 and was informed that it was a 5 minute wait for 5 people. Arrived and was informed that they just gave the last 6 table top away and that the party that would be most likely to leave next has only been there for 40 minutes. They asked if we were willing to sit at a 4 person table- which we were not. Looking at the seating, only 20% of the dining room was filled- why they couldn’t put a four table top and two table top together is crazy. We waited an additional 45 minutes later when we decided that we were tired and were just going to force fit at a 4 person table. When I went in to inform them of this, there were at least two 6 person tables that were empty and cleared, but they did not inform us. After being sat down, I saw another table that had a 4 and 2 pulled together…not sure why they couldn’t do the same for us 45 minutes earlier. Maybe it’s because we weren’t Caucasian?
Finally sat down, ordered our drinks and food. Food took another 45 minutes to arrive. Three of the entrees arrived, but then waitress informed the two others their “campfires” would take at least another 20 minutes and asked if the kids wanted to select something else off the menu? We had already been waiting almost two hours to eat so they decided to go with burgers since they were so starving. Service is so horrible that although we had already been waiting, their new orders went to the back of the cook line list. It took another 45 minutes for 2 minute burgers to come out. The three of us already had our leftovers boxed up and were ready to leave.
The food was horrible, tasteless. My stuffed strawberry pancakes came out original and needed to be fixed. They took my plate back and put a few strawberries on the side and called it a day. Bacon was not crispy and almost undercooked, mini pancakes almost burnt- just to name a few.
Overall worst food and service we’ve ever had which is a shame because we generally love going to Crackle Barrel. No apologies, no admits of mistake, no follow up by management- this was a horrible...
