OUTSTANDING!! Jerry Russell and his team are all top-notch. UNIQUELY STATE OF THE ART in UNDERSTANDING HVAC AND CUSTOM DESIGN OF SYSTEM FOR OPTIMAL EFFICACY & EFFICIENCY for each particular home served. (Not to be snotty BUT you just really NEVER (almost) find guys/gals with Jerry s I.Q., analytical abilities & experience when looking for contractors of ANY KIND. WHAT A FIND! Switzerland Air replaced the entire HVAC system at my mom s 3200 sf Clute TX home; put in a Bryant Evolution - very nice, 16 SEER, fab thermostat, terrific air cleaners/ scrubbers. I live 5 hours away and (based on too many bad experiences) worry about contractors being in my mother s home, taking advantage of her, causing more problems than they fix - BUT NO WORRIES AT ALL WITH SWITZERLAND AIR. All crew members extremely polite, hard-working, clean, considerate and conscientious. Jerry Russell on-site to supervise commencement of work, and then handed off to crew leader Sean, who is incredibly sharp, conscientious, capable,and an excellent communicator. Very happy with the work, the unit, the warranty, the system design. Price seemed very fair (MUCH BETTER QUALITY AND PRICE than what I got at my comparablle-size Dallas home a couple of years ago. System has been in place for around 4 months now - all going great, knock on wood. Will revise review if any updates needed, but very impressed w Jerry and high confidence that we can count on him & Switzerland Air to stand behind the system. Only thing I d get a do-over on if I could would be placement of air ducts - higher and more out of the way so as to allow for easier pathways through attic space; had an emergency come up during the work, which kept me from supervising closely enough to catch this in time; sure my comments would have been accommodated if I d raised this issue in time. Save for that more minor detail, HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND...

I had one of their technicians check out my system a few weeks back. $70 visit, $125 for a five minute leak test, then another $50 for a pound of R22 (which I believe he retrieved after the test), so now we are at about $225 for a check out. After waiting two weeks for a promised system replacement quote I called them and got connected to the owner. He stated he didn't know anything about the quote and would have to schedule another visit. This is a considerable hassle as I don't live in the area. I mentioned that another certified AC company I called did the checkout and leak test at no charge. The owner of Switzerland Air told me to go with the other guy. Folks, there are better, and far less expensive, people to work with. Don't pay top dollar for an unfriendly company that charges $225 for short...

We had a tech come out and look at our AC to see why it kept freezing up! He told us we were low on freon, and also that the expansion valve needed to be replaced. He came on a Friday, told us he'd order the part and it would be in monday or tuesday after the weekend! Just a few days, we can manage being stuffy for just a few days. This Friday will be 3 weeks and they still haven't got a hold of the part that's needed. I'm very disappointed in...
