Better then most around here for breakfast however the chicken fried steak was tiny. The potatoes are like a bowl of chopped up French fries, nothing like breakfast potatoes and not seasoning. They were strange and the waffle needed to be a bit more crisp, it was soggy. The sausage patties were over cooked, dry and crisp though. Even know cooking preparation was off it still had better flavor then the other choices around the area for breakfast. They came closest to a real cream gravy then anywhere else we have tried around here, they did have a strange taste not usually in cream/sausage gravy an odd herb maybe extra time or bit of rosemary that stood out and was different then traditional. They did actually use some seasonings so that's good. The service was great. There were a couple employees, maybe management or owners standing outside the kitchen, right in the dinning area grumbling and look irritated/mad about something. Thankfully they were not loud about it. It need kind of effect the mood of the place though. Not sure the price was worth it to...

No signage to know whether or not to seat yourself and nobody said anything when we walked in and stood there awkwardly. There were quite a few older locals who turned and stared when we walked in but listening to their boisterous conversation was relatively entertaining.

The coffee was very mild but the water was good. I ordered a waffle with sausage and a side of potatoes. The waffle was thin, light in color, and soft, not crisp at all. I'm not 100% sure but the syrup seemed like fake syrup, not maple. I received one (most likely cooked from frozen) small sausage patty and the potatoes I ordered were the size/shape of thin french fries that had been chopped up. The seasoning on them was good though and the sausage tasted good. My sister had biscuits with sausage gravy and she said it was really good.

The pricing was decent and the holiday window paint was well done and festive. Our server was polite and made sure everything was correct but she wasn't super attentive.

We still left a good tip but I wouldn't...

Was driving by on a road trip.. saw a lot of cars.. checked reviews and decided to stop. I had been craving a bacon egg and cheese biscuit. We both ordered the same and a side of country potatoes to share.. there were barely enough potatoes to share for 3 bucks. Very stingy amount for 3 bucks worth of potatoes. I was shocked. The biscuit fell apart and it was more like a omelet on a biscuit instead of individual items as I wanted.. But everyone seemed to be enjoying..I guess we just ordered the wrong thing and went at the wrong time. The bathroom is so very small. I do not see anyway at all anyone that was handicap could use it. If I ever did return. It would not be on Sunday morning. And I would not order...
