The store overall is great to shop in and I've never had issues at all for any circumstances with this store. But tonight was the worst experience I've ever encountered with one of their employees. She's an older lady with grayish fluffy curly hair and wears glasses and she was sitting at the register closest to the exit. Any other time the employees let me take the buggy even though when you don't have a buggy at first you technically can't take the buggy that was already there , yeah I knew that. But this lady couldn't even let me get my words out before jumping to conclusion. Before she rudely snatched the buggy back to her and said no you can't take my buggy and I mean snatched it back , I stated I didn't know you didn't want me to take it , you loaded the buggy and made it seem like I could take ,but overall my true intentions were to say hey I'm going to walk the buggy to the counter to load my ONE bag I had, which I already knew I wasn't going to need the buggy in the first place , and just place the buggy back at the register with her. But nope she had to be rude about it and I asked for the manager she took her time to contact a manager so I asked another employee to call a manager to the front to explain what happened. Conner, the manager on duty came and spoke to me I explained to him every thing that happened . She even said yeah whatever whenever I said you didn't have to be so rude and that I knew my soda was still on the counter because she tried rushing me away by handing me my soda after I had to sit it back down to load my bag after she snatched the buggy away from me. Like I told the manager, Conner, people don't know what type of day people might of had already and small things can trigger that frustration even higher and set off emotions they've been holding in all day. Any other time I've been in this store either the other employees has given me a buggy without even me asking or anything of that nature or like before I've offered 2 dimes and a nickel to exchange for a quarter but guess what they other employees were like it's okay don't worry about it and still gave me the quarter. I'm not sure what this employees name is because she didn't have a name tag but I truly hope she sees this review and understand where I'm really coming from. Like I've told Mr Conner if it seem like I was over reacting I apologize, but still she really could of approached this whole situation alot better than the way she did. It could of been a whole different situation if one I could of gotten my words out before she decided to snatch the buggy and could of just not had a hostile tone in her voice. I didn't even approach with an attitude or anything coming up to her cash register. I also feel like the customer after me if she didn't say I'll get it (referring to her box of items) I feel like that cashier was going to let her take that buggy all because her box was more heavier than my items. Like I told that customer it was nothing against her but I'm not sure if she understood what I was trying to say.Overall I don't care about the buggy because I wasn't even going to leave out the store with , it's just the principal how this employee just jumped to conclusion and actually snatched a buggy from me and said yeah whatever to me. Like I told Conner they can watch the cameras and if it has audio to listen to it! Like I said before people need to be careful how they approach people especially approaching quiet people because you just never know where their...
Read moreWhen this Aldi store first started, my wife and I were really impressed of the selection and options this place had and the overall customer service of the employees here. It was honestly a joyful experience. Now, this place has completely changed and it just keeps going downhill.
We could not believe of how much rotting food and vegetables we saw today. The manager that was on the floor as well as the associates didn't care whatsoever and it clearly show's that they do not do first in first out. There was an entire bunch of rotten and moldy onions, mushrooms, and other vegetables just sitting there not being rotated and they are just letting customers buy those without saying anything.
The employees here just don't care. I get it. I wouldn't care either if you get treated the way they do here. It seems to me that they barely have any help. Only one person on the register usually at all times. And when they call for backup, managers are no where to be seen to help. It's usually just one more associate.
I really hope the new Aldi's opening on East Nine will be better than this. If it wasn't for grocery prices being how high they are now, I wouldn't be shopping...
Read moreI've only shopped at this location twice. I typically use a different location. This location isn't as clean. Produce wasn't stocked well. I had to pick through the produce due to moldy products. Other isle's weren't stocked super well. It was out of quite a few regular items I get. A few isle's had shelves that everything had been picked through and just thrown on shelves. It was a mess. Check out was I think the worst part. I have a baby. The other location never makes me unload my child. They always just use my cart. If it's super busy I have the option to use self checkout so I don't slow the checkout person down. This cashier didn't like that fact I told her I've never been asked to change my baby to another cart. She told me I was slowing her down. That I needed to hurry unload my buggy before she was done checking out the next person. There were a handful of people behind me. If you only have one checkout line open. Then self checkout needs to be a option for issues like this or another register needs to be opened. The store wasn't...
