Been here a couple of times. Each time our group gets harassed by the staff. Now granted the first time one of our group got a little too tipsy and was asked to leave so we'll give the benefit of the doubt on that one. But we played there recently again, four of us, they put two groups of two behind us and didn't pair them up, and another single person behind them. Then around the 7th hole a guy comes riding up asking if we could speed up. We were playing team golf, each guy hits and we take the best shot and each hit from there. We come around to the 10th hole and the guy in the clubhouse comes out asking if we could speed up again. I ask him how he would like us to do that. He didn't have a good solution. Now we aren't the best players and we like to relax and have fun so we don't try to rush through a round, we paid the same money as everybody else out there whey should we have to rush through the round just to make them happy? It would be impossible to play single golf, everybody playing their own ball. It's a municipal course it's not Pebble Beach, relax. They need a starter that pairs people up and spaces the groups out a little better. All they care about is packing people on the course and trying to rush people through. I won't...
Read moreThe course itself isn't that bad for the money. Brought my son here for Father's Day after our charter fishing trip was canceled. Called at 7am and booked a 9am tee time. Had to rent clubs because I was visiting from out of town. They barely had enough clubs to fill one bag.. no problem, my son and I can share. Get the cart and head to the car to get stuff out and the course marshal told me my son wasn't allowed to drive the cart. He is 14 and wasn't driving crazy but I understood why he didn't want kids driving. After hitting at the driving range we get to the first tee at 9 and as we are trying to tee off the Marshall shows up hassling me about only having one set of clubs and asking if I had paid for my son to play. After explaining that they didn't have anymore rentals and told me in a really mean way that we were to hurry up because the course was packed and that other people had booked tee times so I would be messing them up. I told him I booked at tee time like everyone else and paid like everyone else. It really made me angry but we pushed on and this guy was watching us the whole time like we had done something wrong. Will never go to this...
Read moreRating one star for the customer service. The old man who works the front desk is the worse customer service I have EVER encountered in my life. I came in to play 18 without a tee time (mind you the course is EMPTY) and he acted liked I asked the world of him. It gets better though. After paying for my round he threw my receipt at me. Then at the end of the round I was returning my cart and took it upon himself to come outside to harass me some more. He proceeds to say “took you long enough to play the last two holes”. I finished 18 holes in 2 hours and 17 minutes with the course being empty. After proving him wrong that I wasn’t playing slow he accused me of stealing by only paying for 9 holes and when i went to show him my receipt that I payed for 18 he walks off before I could even show him. I have played way better courses than this MUNICIPAL course and have been treated a million times better. Osceola should be ashamed to have someone like this working the counter. He needs to be fired. This is not the first instance that I have had a bad encounter with this man but this was the absolute worst. This was uncalled for and I hope they...
