J & Z NAILS SPA LLC — Local services in Brick Township

Amazing!! I have lived down here for years and had yet to find a decent nail place until today. I had used a well known establishment down the street from J&Z and there is no comparison to the service I received today. The place is not as nice as some of the others this is true but the attention to detail makes up for all that. There were older Italian ladies there and you know they don’t play around with their nails either so I knew I was in a good place. Kimi was my tech and she spent a good half hour just prepping the nails for polish which I haven’t experienced anywhere else in YEARS. After polishing and drying she actually examined each nail to make sure it was perfect. I got all the hot towel, cuticle oil and care, and massage I’ve been missing from all the other horrible places in the area. I definitely found my new nail place. Thanks...

I am not one to complain but this was the worst salon experience of my life. I made an appointment a week prior, still ended up waiting 15 minutes until I got into a chair. I had asked for a simple almond shape with a black polish after filling the gel overlay. The shape was horrendous and I hate saying things because I don’t wanna be “that girl” but they were so rude, only speaking in their native language and not speaking to me, the client paying for these services. After she tried fixing the almond shape, and failing miserably, I asked her to please cut them all off but she continued to square off the horribly filed almond nails. If you are of Melanin decent do not go to this establishment. I made an appointment for 3pm to get my nails done. I arrived at 2:30pm hopefully to get my feet done before my appointment. The lady told me after my nails were done i would get my feet done. 5 minutes before she finished my nails i reminded her i needed to do my feet because it was getting packed. She then proceeded to tell the other girls in their language to take the other clients. She got done with my nails and when i realized all the seats were taken i asked her where should i go.
