Lightz Up — Local services in Brick Township

This was the absolute WORST smoke shop experience I've ever had in my 12 years visiting them. I bought a larger piece from these women that they claimed would fit my nail that I drew the diameter of and brought in. The owner swore up and down that it would fit and that it was "high quality glass". I brought the brand new piece home and the moment I tried to gently put my nail into the piece it cracked. The owner had been ranting over and over about how they don't use cheap products or try to make a large profit margin off of customers because they want to build relationships so I figured they would make this right since I hadn't used the product once. Turns out her rant was a bunch of GARBAGE just like every other owner I've encountered that is trying to run a high profit low quality shop just like this one. She refused to do anything, telling me that she couldn't and her hands were tied but to come back later with my nail to see if it fit, as I was insisting this was her fault due to her recommending the wrong size (which is the truth). I brought in the nail and it didn't fit well but she claimed it fit and sent me out the door saying "I've been doing this 9 years, the crack in the glass isn't deep and won't effect the piece". Well MORE LIES because I went home and the moment I tried to put the nail in again the whole piece shattered a big chunk off and now it's worthless and I wasted $100 of my hard earned money for nothing. Thanks for the terrible customer service and unwillingness to help Lightz Up!!! What a horrible experience! Don't anyone EVER go...

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. They do not give receipts or allow returns of any kind. After the woman working the counter specifically told me the item I was buying would work with the item I already had, it did not. I'm now out 25 dollars. They wouldn't even allow me to return it for a different item in their store.
