Yellow Brick Road Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Brick Township

This past week I came into the Brick shop with my daughter for some ice cream. A young woman Nicole took care of us, she was sweet, kind, and patient with my 5 year old. She even let her try a bunch before making her decision.

The only thing I would say is I felt bad for this worker and I hope it was not the case at all times. The phone was ringing, she had multiple people in line and was making a cake she had explained was called in that morning... seemed to be the only worker there, or atleast the only working being attentitive. I have had experiences with her plenty, and everytime I do she is absolutely wonderful... she deserves a raise. The other kids are normally great as well, but sometimes can become irritated.

Despite that, the icecream was great. Prices are a little outrageous, though. With that being said, I would rather pay extra for good quality icecream, like they have at Yellow brick road. I rated the atmosphere low because the building itself is pretty worn down, needs new paint job, and the windows (from the outside) are...

I ordered a pint of cotton Candy ice cream. Somehow they got the order wrong. How on earth does someone who can’t scoop a single flavor survive in the world? And what kind of psychopath puts mnms in cotton Candy ice cream?!. Disgusting. Never ordering again. Before I ordered I saw a review that they messed up other orders and I thought to myself, I’m ordering one thing, no toppings, how hard could that be? Apparently it’s extremely hard for the employees here. Wild how people can literally not even do one thing right. It’s the most disgusting thing I ever tasted I literally need to throw it out.

Let me add, they didn’t just sprinkle mnms on top, because that would make it too easy to fix. Someone literally mcflurried them in. I’m taking extra effort on this really stupid mistake. There are a million chopped bits of the candy I hate most, I seriously hate mnms, and much as I hate this shop. Chocolate chip inside a flavorless pink nothing. I should have just flushed $20 in the toilet. Thanks a lot...

I visited the yellow brick Road Ice Cream Shop for the first time I believe the end of June, I work out here in Brick New Jersey. I don’t live out here. But now that I’ve had a taste of their ice cream. I wish I lived out here !!!!! First of all, service was great!!!! The young girls that worked there were very nice and patient with me and I believe the owner and his wife were there and they were so sweet and very nice. I had the coconut ice cream, Oh my goodness it was DIVINE!! I think I had coconut ice cream with butter pecan, and I believe banana Ice cream something like that. It was so good and I’m a Cold Stone kind of girl and now I just found another favorite spot. I’ve been craving coming back every day since I left. I will be back there soon.
