Mona is very nice and pleasant to speak to, but unfortunately the business is very unorganized & quite unprofessional

I came in for wedding dress adjustments. I got it cleaned for $100 which was fine

The main 3 issues: She was not organized on keeping notes & track for what we decided on in past appointments. She also wasn't giving us many options or ideas on how to make the dress look nice with the straps, more breathing room on the side, and train/back arrangement

We scheduled an appointment 1 month in advance, which my mother drove 12 hours specifically for, and then wanted to move it because she didn't plan and realize it was a holiday weekend; this isn't an exaggeration. We were very lucky to be able to adjust for the new day/time as the only option

With the new moved appointment, we had agreed on it for 3:30 for her to leave at 4:30ish which seemed rushed but she insisted. We arrived early just in case at ~3 and she rushed us out the door instead at 3:30 to pick up her kids. That's very rude and made us feel unimportant when you have a business. The last few times in the appointment we didn't feel cared for because of how many people were coming in all at once and helping them all at the same time

I don't recommend this to anyone with other vendor wedding stress we already have to deal with. Both sides were polite about everything and no bridges were burned and she was completely understandable about us leaving. Go to Mona. She IS the BEST. I said yes to MY dress at Mona’s. Mona said she had it since March, (my wedding day was the end of September), and it was meant for me! Don’t bother going anywhere else. Don’t waste your time. Mona has amazing wedding dresses. Just shy of 2 weeks for my wedding, Mona had my dream dress ready. She put her finishing touches on it and practically re-designed it for me. I wanted my shoulders covered, and she actually added shoulders. I wanted the front a bit higher, and she did exactly that by adding the loveliest little lace rose (picture with no shoulders), on the front to give me more coverage. Mona is extremely talented and amazing. She is professional and patient. She’s so kind and lovely who cares deeply for you. Ladies, if you want someone who actually cares about what they do and pays special attention to details on your wedding dress, with such care as if it were her dress, if you want someone who truly wants to make you happy and is genuinely happy when you are, then go to Mona’s. She will guide you with a full heart. You will not be disappointed. I felt as if I was family to her. I knew my dress was going to be special for my day. July 2025 - Mona's Boutique and Tailoring is the biggest rip-off place I have ever encountered. I brought my mother of the bride dress there to be altered and hemmed. When I went back, I was not happy with the length, but she hurried me out and said it was perfect. She charged me a total of $730 for alterations and hemming. After trying it on a few times at home I was still not happy with it, I decided to get a second opinion. I brought it to another tailor in Brick, and they told me Mona ruined the dress. It was not until I went to this second tailor did I realize what a terrible job Mona did for a ton of money, $730. This was a $1500 dress. Mona cut the lace when she was not supposed to. The top of the dress was a botched job. Also, Mona did not take it in correctly around the hip area. Basically, the new tailor must totally re-do the dress again from start. I was so upset but the new tailor is going to do their best to fix it for me for a total of $250. When going back to Mona she was very unprofessional and nasty and would not listen to a word I said. She told me the new tailor was going to ruin the dress on me. Mona just yelled and screamed at me and kicked me out. I would never want anyone else to experience this.
