Azteca Market — Local services in Bridgeport

I do not recommend take out here! Produce was rotten and we went to tell the cashier they didn’t want to refund us. The workers refuse to recognize their errors it’s the third time I’ve had a bad experience here. I received tacos de birria with a roach in it (decided to not order takeout here anymore after this) and in another occasion guacamole with a strand of hair in it when I went back to tell them they said it’s not their fault they “know what they’re doing” And one time my husband went to buy a CALLING CARD “boss revolution” and the lady said they use new methods for international calling they supposedly activated his phone for an international call and the next month our bill came $400 more than what normally is expected due to the international call not being activated the lady was obviously distracted and added funds to the phone in Guatemala which was not what we asked for, we went back to ask for a solution or at least an apology and the lady at the window said “that’s your fault not ours” what kind of customer service is this?! We’re never coming back due to always having bad experiences here we’ve tried to give them chance after chance because we know no one is perfect but it’s unfortunate that they do not better their...

So, there is this plaza with a bank, a Save-a-lot supermarket, a dollar store, and even a McDonald’s franchise…

At the end of the parking lot, you will find a sign for a tiny supermarket called Azteca Market. Don’t be fooled!

Inside this inconspicuous store, you will find some of the best Mexican food you can eat in Bridgeport. Hands down!

Let go of any preconceptions about the location, the neighborhood, the area or the town and go have some tacos, tortas (Mexican Sandwiches), quesadillas or a smorgasbord of Mexican delicacies while you shop for some of the best and exotic things Mexico has to offer.

These people are clean and the food is absolutely delicious!! Not much variety in terms of dishes, but you will find that what they make is made very, very good!

You won’t find Burritos, Gorditas or chalupas but the Tacos and Quesadillas are superb! The meats are well seasoned and the Carnitas and Cecina are amongst the best I ever had. Bring your appetite as the portions are plenty and very satisfying.
