Garibaldi Restaurant — Restaurant in Bridgeport

We just ordered takeout from this place and it will be the last. My father called to inform them that the soup he ordered had 0 meat, Sopa de Panza. The waitress told him that "she had nothing to do with that". He explained to her that he understood that but he was calling to let them know so they could inform the kitchen to resolve the matter. She then went on to explain that the soup was cold because of delivery time, which was not at all why he was calling.

She then started raising her voice so much at him that I could HEAR her yelling at him through the phone. He then asked for her name and she not only refused to give it to him or pass the phone to a manager, but she actually HUNG UP on him. He called back and she continued to screen the call over and over again.

My father later called back and someone who claimed to be the manager spoke to him. Said person instead of even addressing the unacceptable behavior of their establishment told him "that they would have his food perfect for him next time".

We are in complete shock at the awful customer service and unkind people who work here. They are unaccountable for their employees and quite condescending to believe you can treat people this way and count on them to return as...

Came here for the first time while driving through Bridgeport and was pleasantly surprised. They have an extensive menu that includes staple dishes like tacos and burritos, with harder to find dishes like Tlayudas, which are these amazing Mexican pizza like open face quesadillas native to the Oaxaca region. I devoured it. My partner was able to custom design her burrito so that it conformed to her vegan diet; cactus, beans peppers & onion burrito!

They also had a ton of freshly squeezed juice options like watermelon, lemonade etc., and the service was really attentive and helpful about customizing my partners meal

The menu is in Spanish so if you want to try some of the off beat options I recommend you bring a Spanish speaker with you, otherwise just go for simple dishes!

Overall this place was one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to, and I’m half Mexican I’ve been eating it all of my life and have pretty high standards for the stuff

Super unprofessional behavior from the women that work here. I ordered food for pickup and was told they would prepare part of my order when I got there. When I arrived, I was given an attitude and got eye rolls from both women at the counter saying that it would be another 20 minutes to which I agreed to but they were not listening because they were too busy flirting with one man at the counter. The food here has been good in the past but I will not be returning due to the unprofessional and distasteful behavior.
