Affordable Appliance — Local services in Bridgeton

We arrived on a Saturday morning and paid a decent price for a used gas oven. The man who sold it to us said that for an extra $40 they would deliver it and install it and remove the old one, Monday sometime after 4:00.

None of that was true.

When we showed up at noon Tuesday to ask what happened, the woman there said we were supposed to call them to let them know we were ready. She said fine, they would deliver it after four. We work nights, so we took a nap, and were awakened around two by their arrival. They did install an oven, but they said they did not agree to remove the old one, which they left on our side deck blocking access to our back yard.

The joke is the oven they delivered is not the one we bought. It's the same brand, and a nice oven which works fine, but it's a different model.

So we're mostly unhappy about the fact that we have no way to get rid of the old oven, and it's very difficult to reach our back yard with it...

I was sooo at a loss being new to New Jersey and where to go when my washing machine quit on me. After asking around...checking out the reviews and the ratings...I took a ride over to Affordable Appliance. (honestly, expecting to find nothing. The gentleman was soo kind, not pushy, very knowledgeable and helpful. They promised delivery the next day. They did run a little late....but were soo professional on calling and letting me know. I was sooo greatful and thankful. Anyone whom deals with them will find honest, hard working, caring people there along with wonderful machines that truly are affordable. They did all they said they would do, bringing it in, hooking it up, testing it out, and taking out the old after a long hard day of work for them. They followed thru without a complaint and were all true gentleman. I hope everyone can find what they need with the professional expertese and respect that they gave to me. Thank You...

I asked my Facebook friends who they would recommend to repair a Samsung washer. After I called a few recommendations, I found out that no one services Samsung products. One of the places I called was affordable appliances in Bridgeton. Chris wasn't available at the time, but he did call me back. He walked me through some troubleshooting to get a better idea of what we were dealing with. He squeaked me in for the very next day. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Now at this point he could have repaired something that I didn't need but he didn't. He just charged me for a service call. Chris is as honest as they come. I would highly recommend...
