Had a pick up time of 8 am. Arrived on time only to be told that the shipment wasn't complete and that it would not be ready right away. Asked if I could drop my trailer so I can get some breakfast as any normal person would ask for permission to only for them to argue that they didn't want to because they were worried about drivers abandoning trailers in their yard. As a truck driver everyone knows that is very hard to find a place to eat with the trailer. And I feel it's every human's right that they need to eat breakfast and dinner at least. Now I know it what everyone's thinking why didn't I eat before I started driving well all the restaurants were closed at 4 in the morning. So this is where the bad review comes in. One of the ladies in the office complaint to my Carrier about me leaving my trailer. Yet they didn't say anything to me when they told me what doc to go put the trailer in. By the time I got in the dock it was 9:30 a.m. in the morning. By the time I got fully loaded was 1:30 p.m. in the afternoon. I can't believe a company would expect a driver to sit in their yard for over 4 hours and never go out to get something to eat. totally not logical. totally totally inhuman. Now here's the other part of the bad review they never called the customer to change the appointment because they knew that they were in error when they cause the load to be extremely late. Now let's do the math now if you know what time I started when you read this then you know that a 4 hours waiting to be loaded takes away 4 hours from drive time and there is no way to make an appointment time on July 4th at 4 a.m. in the morning.
I have nothing against this company or its employees but the professionalism is not there. And neither is the common sense Factor with their shipping apartment.
If there was a negative stars on this platform I would give it.
-1 * for not having the load ready at the appointed time.
-1 * for not having any respect towards veterans or their Humanity. -1 * for taking extremely too long for loading a trailer and not using the load locks on a liquid load. -1 * for not offering driver access to the docks so they can use the docks and take the time to secure the load with the load locks. -1 * we're going on their lunch break during loading the trailer then coming back to finish the trailer and figuring the driver wouldn't noticed.
This is bad business. And I'm hoping the owner or whoever is running the business will take steps to correct whoever is doing these horrible actions to other drivers.
To owner-operators I would recommend avoid this place like a plague until they submit a review saying that look into to matter and Change their ways and attitudes towards drivers I understand that it's their property and they can do whatever they want but not at the cost of someone's health or they likelihood or safety of the people on the road. It is...
Read moreThis company should be an example for every company out there this is how you do it, it was quick and simple they're not mean they'll let you stay after you are loaded to finish your break and yes the bathrooms are clean they actually have a bathroom for us drivers way to go White Wave Foods they loaded me up in about an HR I've never seen anything like it.
Only if they would put the load bars up when they done loading so we don't have to climb into the trailer to secure the load that would be it, only cuz I'm not a big fan of climbing into a cold wet TRL I rather walk in it safety n all.
So guys I left mine in the TRL but they don't want you to leave the bars in the back, slid tandems , disconnect red line and don't move till they call you. They have to look in the back before the seal goes on, but you need to pull up to the exit stop sign so he can walk out real quick seal it up. If you're staying let them know and you'll have to back up, FYI if you can't straight line back like a BOSS just leave and come back DON'T BLOCK THE GATE. let's not ruin it for the rest of us clean up after yourself in the restroom and do not throw trash in the yard including your cigarette butt they take pride in their property is nice and clean we should help keep...
Read moreSo, Been here few times already but have colleagues who come often and waay back already. So they will let you sleep, you can in some cases (AFTER asking for it, unless after hours then you can drop it and go) drop the trailer in yard, and bobtail somewhere to eat or so. There is a Wallmart 5 mins away, i always go there, just google it. Im not sure which time exactly but around 6 am they are gonna come and knock on your door and wake you up probably, to check in and all. Also depends on your schedule but as far as i know, last time there was around 6 trucks including me in the yard they woke us all up around 6am and we all got loaded within 1 and half hrs. PLEASE KEEP IT CLEAN, DONT THROW CIGS AND TRASH ARUND THE YARD, LETS KEEP IT NICE FOR ALL OF US...
